Another person killed by tiger sharks in Bahamas

https://goodmorningamerica.com/news/...ments-64822252

Jordan's right arm was torn off in the attack, and she suffered bites to her left arm, both legs and buttocks, authorities said.*

Sorry anti shark bros. This poor kid was eaten by a shark.

To think my grandpa used to fish for tiger sharks is mind blowing to me

Edit: they probably got my family on a hit list for all the tiger sharks my grandpa got over the years back in the 30s

No thanks

What a shame. Let's see what her buttocks looks like now.

This is a great thread. A lot of beauty’s in here. I love the testosterone level.

Remind me of when the Pakistani airlines plane belly landed the 737 and the thread on here had “pilots” chiming in that “can’t happen”

I am a land locked Canadian that has been on a few cruises, But I don’t look over the edge. I get goontoched in one of the many lounges / bars for the 7 or 10 day cruises I have been on.

I think it’s obvious after watching the video, The brah clearly saw something in the water because he nopes right the fck out in the opposite direction of the flotation device.

Also to the people saying people viewing the scene first hand would have seen the shark over a camera have never been on a ship. That’s not how human eyesight works. Submarines use red lights so your not completely blind coming from light into darkness. That’s also why this looks like a video taken with a camera made from a potato, Light as day behind into complete darkness. But still picks up more than the human eye.

My expert opinion: he died in the ocean.

Odds are infinitely more likely to have just drowned after 20 minutes of swimming than a phucking shark attack. Shark attacks are extremely rare.
This dumbass didnt even watch the video. The kids dead/drowned in under 20 seconds. No wonder youre ‘no shark crew’. Explains alot tbh.

ACHTUNG! Repost for the misctards like @Schnitzl

I want you to watch this clip below. Pay attention to the bottom of his left sole of his foot....as it goes down....you see a gigantic gray triangle come and bob its head up out of the water.

then you see the kid's head going down, like hes being pulled downwards. Shark got his leg and swam downwards pulling him underneath the surface. just pay attention to the vid. someone was kind enough to slow it down for the morons of the world like yourself.

BTW: there are likely two sharks, but I don't want you to use up the few brain cells you have straining to look for both. You never get to see his pale white sole of his right foot cuz its already in the sharks mouth.

Witnesses report the attack and the screams? Are we talking about the same drunk 18 year old witnesses in the video? The ones who apparently dared him to jump in the first place? I wouldn't trust those retards to make any sound decisions, whether that be in the moment when the kid jumped or in any event in their life following this here. And yes, shark attacks are indeed rare, under normal circumstances. Once again, here it is night time which is prime time feeding hours and sharks are already known to see ships as a means to obtain easy food. You seriously don't think that there are more factors in this situation that would increase the likelihood of there being sharks around? As far as hearing the screams, you can hear the kid yelling "HELP ME!" then a little later more yells, probably from him being in pain? So now because there isn't clear cut audio of him being made dinner, it didn't happen?

If nothing else, this whole thing turned out pretty lulzy. Who knew this was going to be the next Patterson-Gimlin footage

I don’t blame him but yeah..

My kids wanna snorkel? Cool. We’ll check out a local pool. I won’t let them near the Bahamas and swimming w dolphins in the ocean bs.

I grew up on jaws and I’d argue it’s made me smarter when it comes to respecting the ocean; I doubt the tik tock generation has seen it though. My boys will. Think twice before heading to the deep abyss.. shark attacks are real and they do happen:

Feel so bad for the kids parents, I mean what do you tell them? Drowning or ripped apart by sharks? No reason for them to know that. Just say it was the current

I just linked a article of another person killed not long ago in the bahmas from tiger sharks. Didn't sound like they just hung around and circled.

No.

They ripped the womens arm off and ate her, she died.

I swear some people never saw Jaws, or saw Jaws and think "It's not real lyfe LOL"

It is, you utter morons.

To think my grandpa used to fish those fukers on the shore no biggy nearly 100 years ago is mind blowing. He also went to west point and was a chad so theirs that.

Didn't expect this thread to take off when I caught the first page

Lol'd hard @ "there were no sharks" & "shark attacks are rare"

First of all, no they're not rare, you just don't hear about them unless it's serious; they happen every single day

It's estimated that only a tiny fraction of shark attacks are even reported, we don't ask "what bit you" in an ER just lol, no one reports that chit especially in other countries

I can't stop watching the video.

You can almost certainly hear him yelling desperately at around the 11 second mark.

The yell of someone being eaten by a shark.

"NOOOOOOO!"

Before that are terrified screams of a female onlooker as well.

These are the sounds you'd expect in this real life horror movie. Blood chilling.

Nah bros.

At the first part, that splash is interesting - maybe some sort of sea creature.

But most definitely he didn’t get pulled under by a shark at that spot when he is swimming away.

Later in the video the camera goes to the net and you can still see the kid through the net.

You hear a girl yell “the current”

I think:

- maybe there was something in the water at first that spooked him

- he turns around and gets sucked in a current

- maybe ends up getting sucked through the ships turbine, or maybe just gets sucked far away (maybe later gets eaten by a shark)
