Became a better guy for it, stopped browsing degen, went on a ho streak and got it out the system. Finally fell in **** with a girl who is perfect in every way for me. We moved in and plan on starting a family.

Grieve it but know it was long dead and then move on. This is a huge blessing. Let it go man.

Like yours mine ended over something tiny, a miscommunication literally. If it blows over something small it has been done for months already. No coming back but its a blessing. If you were considering escorts it was because you knew something was wrong inside. Now I only watch pron literally one time a week. I bust all my nuts inside my girl and never if only rarely think I miss out on other girls til I see her again and immediately forget all that.
The “something wrong inside” for me was thinking I can do better physically, her not speaking to me in a more sweet tone and not feel like she was too hard on me. Now I realized I goofed up. I didn’t think it would hurt this much.

She did everything she could to adjust and not make me feel like she was lecturing me. It was my own insecurity. “The something wrong inside and me riding the fence” caused me to lash out and be toxic. I lashed out because I wanted it to be her fault for my own lack of happiness. She did nothing wrong

Dude, stop with this nonsense thinking and reattach your balls. Stop putting your ex on a pedestal and maintain your frame.

Yeah I remember feeling this way too srs, it was all my fault, she was perfect did nothing wrong I was horrible etc. The guilt you feel is actually making your pain 100x worse brah. You need to forgive yourself, you’re a human and just doing your best. A relationship takes 2, there is a reason you were acting that way at that time. Something in you was not being fulfilled by her. That’s not her fault but not necessarily your fault either. Realize this ASAP so you can eliminate the guilt otherwise it’ll fuk you over for a long time

I know the exact reason it started… projection. I was projecting my unhappiness onto her. I wanted her to be the villain and be the target of my misery. That way, it wasn’t my fault. I wasn’t the one messing up this relationship.

I’ve been there op. Once I was living with a girl for 6 years and the lease was ending. She said she found a place to live and I was like great where. She said I’d rather you not know because I’m going alone. Then I met someone new who was staying with me and looking at places to live. Then I spent a ton on Valentine’s for her and had made reservations at a restaurant and she said she was on her way and completely blocked me. Ghost!’ 6 months. Went to her house one day and she said she had a restraining order. She knew that I’d kill the new guy. That one tore me up. Now my gf and me just broke up but it’s because I would not take no for an answer one day in the bedroom. She won’t let me come over anymore. She stayed the night last night and we are working on things but I understand how she feels.

Our relationship has been on egg shells for a while on the verges of breaking up but I never thought we’d actually break up with each other. My main complaints have been her attitude/nagging/unloading/complaining and our sex life (partially my fault).

Because of these things I idiotically told her that I wasn’t that in **** with her and head over heels over her. I said what I said at the time but looking back and the amount of hurt and pain I’ve felt the past few days, I was in **** with this great woman but was too blind to see it and too proud to feel it. These statements, of course, created even greater separation in our relationship.

In the relationship, I often thought of whoremaxxxing and hooking up with random girls and felt that I was missing out. That and a porn/OnlyFans addiction caused me to fap way more than I was initiating and needing sex. But now that’s she’s gone, the thought of empty sex and random women coming in and out of my house disgusts me. A great quote is “you’d be an idiotic to trade in your house for a hotel room”. Too much Andrew state for my brain.

She’s 100 percent right in that she’s worked on herself and tried many ways to not nag, not ride me, try to change her tone, her delivery but nothing seems to work and she says she feels hurt by this. Nothing is enough for me. I agree with her. I should have let me pride and feelings go aside and told myself how lucky I was to have a partner like her every day I woke up. Instead, I got in my feelings and became passive aggressive and noticeably annoyed when she kindly reminded me to tidy stuff up and remind me to do something.

She accepted me for my introverted, autistic self. She chose me at the beginning. I never felt like she was juggling me or had me as a backup plan. She ****d me with such vulnerability while I was constantly on the fence with showing my **** for her.

I spread myself too thinly with work, gym, sports, my dog, my family, and my friends. I made plans with her but she often got the scraps of time leftover and usually I was way too tired to be engaged.

All this to say that it hurts!!! She was my longest relationship and the closest I felt to having a family of my own. All around the house is pieces of a home we created together. Seeing her room and her decorations warmed my heart. Now she’s moving out and getting her own apartment.

I begged her to say and I’m pretty sure she’s made up her mind.
Based self reflection OP. No matter what happens we're all gonna make it

OP doesn't know she was already talking to someone else for months now

by the time a girl breaks off a long term relationship, she's been over it for a long while, but will hide it.

It's over OP, she already has someone else, even if you don't know him.

Holy chit you're pathetic. Just lmao. I take everything I said to you back about being similar or in a similar situation. Her and I had issues, and she blew it up, but I didn't become a phucking ****gy time bish.

I just thought well that went wrong but there are 3.5 billion women on this planet and I wasn't happy. Time for next and to be a bit better. In no way did I become what you are becoming. I dont even feel bad for you, you're going to torture yourself cuz you're a lame. GL bish boi

In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University.

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully. He got down on one knee, inspected the elephant's foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.

The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same elephant.

This is for everyone who sends me those bogus, heart-warming stories.

I was literally at her parents house less than 5 days ago. She was crying over the relationship like 2 nights ago.

But enough is enough. She had enough of my immaturity

i forgot to say that she paid me $1500 in rent/expenses the night before. the NEXT day after, we're broken up. she literally went to bed, dwelled on it, and decided it was over. she's moving out and asked for her $1500 back

dont worry OP had a GF break up with me last year among other reasons saying she wants kids (Already like 33 at the BU but w/e)

pretty quickly I found a new GF that was better and not only cooks for me but is cleaning the dishes before I'm done eating. The other is still single, childless and watching my IG stories

my point is if you're quality you won't last long on the market, just look at the average miscer/male you're competing with, yes your gf is getting plowed by chad now but she's just part of the rotation and will likely regret it

she signed the lease and am picking up her keys in a few days...

such a sinking and sucky feeling

basically how this **** all went down

- Monday: at her parents house for memorial day
- Wednesday: mini-fight about turning off the oven light
- Thursday: I go to my monthly therapy
- Friday morning (thursday night): she pays me $1500 in rent
- Friday afternoon: asks me how therapy went (I tell her) and tells me we should breakup and how she's already looking for apartments (she already told me this before in the past, not new info)
