It's funny to think of how Harvard was once the most elite school in the US.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Hope they're lowering tuition rates with the way the value of their degrees have been lowered.

Here's a succinct summary of the foundational stupidity behind this 'liberal agenda for education' BS. It's another attempt to whip up a moral panic from the same crowd who were scared of the Satanic Panic, the Red Scare, etc. It's another manufactured moral panic like all the hand-flapping about 'cancel culture' which is the objective of hardcore regressive conservatives.
I've been around the tertiary education system for about 11 years now. Not once was I ever indoctrinated into an ideology or worldview. The only thing I could possibly say was close to anything like a right-wing boogeyman was that it was a very secular environment. I wasn't taught an ideology, I was taught how to research things, critical thinking, how to evaluate different positions and synthesize evidence from multiple perspectives.
I find it very funny how environments where you're taught the virtues of skepticism, removed from a bubble of confirmation bias, exposed to a plurality of opinions on advanced subjects, learn the value of evidence and multiple perspectives tend to be left and liberal leaning.
I wonder if there's a connection there.

Also, why did you find it hilarious to see a cat die by electrocution?

No education is useless. There's an error in supposing that a degree is useless based on the subject you study and some expected economic ROI. If you know about Renaissance philosophy or Mesopotamian art history but it's unlikely to be economically rewarding, this doesn't make it a useless degree.
There is actual knowledge you have acquired and there could even be a job at the end of it that some people would like to have. It might be difficult to get that job but this doesn't make the degree useless. And if these degrees teach students to become competent researchers and learners and communicators these are marketable skills applicable everywhere.
The philosophy of pedagogy is wrong here. The point of education is to learn, not to simply improve your job prospects.
But if you go to a class with poor teaching which provides no real knowledge so you don't really learn anything, that's a useless class. And the universities, not the students, should be on the hook for that.
