Do you think there is no instance where the state should regulate and direct economy? Do you think self serving behavior and competition always results in the best outcomes?

Did Stalin not distribute and run his economy effectively? He had extraordinary GDP growth and improved many metrics for his civilization.

Stalin!?! Lol...Stalin was one of the worst dictators in the history of this planet..also, I'm intimately familiar with his brand of communism...im reminded of it every time I take a piss and see the scars on my testicle...I was around 6 when I was held down and forced to watch 4 other communist soldiers rape our Hazara maid...I didn't know what sex was, let alone rape but the last soldier that climbed off her decided to put his bayonet in her privates and open her up to her ribcage...that actually wasnt the first time I witnessed a woman being disemboweled...im not in the business of trying to convince you of anything...but I know communism more so than you can possibly imagine. I know what the end game is. I also honestly believe that this world will not find its bliss until every communist man, women, and child seizes to exist.

Stalin was awesome
After taking power in the 1920s, Joseph Stalin killed at least 9 million people through mass murder, forced labor, and famine, but the true figure may be as high as 60 million.

From the 1920s through his death in 1953, Joseph Stalin ruled the Soviet Union through fear and violence. He instituted punitive policies that resulted in devastating famines, sent his enemies to prison camps, and executed those he believed opposed him. So, how many people did Stalin kill?
The number is difficult to determine. No neat and tidy sum encapsulates the terror of the Stalin years, which means that many historians have had to cobble together facts from available sources. But various estimates have emerged.
What country? And I mean war sucks, but that's really besides the point. Capitalists have also disemboweled and raped women. And I disagree. I think Pol Pot was pretty bad. Stalin was probably among the most effective dictators in history tbh. I think you're too close to the negatives and not seeing the positives. It would be like asking a starving Indian about the merits of Angloid capitalism. You're going to get a warped response. There are advantages and disadavantages to each system and cases of extremes that failed and succeeded in different ways. If you can't admit this, IDK. Best of luck to you, and sry about your balls brah.

Soviets were particularly cruel in that war. Agreed. You saw the worst of it. Much like how a Libyan today might lament America bombing them and plunging their country into chaos. Many women were raped and murdered there just the same. Brezhnev's crusading wasn't so different from ours. He wanted to spread his version of socialism everywhere by military force. The US currently holds the same view just replace socialism with democracy. (Jack Matlock made this comparison.) Both crusades are wrong. I do not condone that policy, and we see what that policy brought the USSR.

Interestingly, Brezhnev's vision was closer to Trotsky's than Stalin's. Stalin didn't really want a worldwide crusade.

Yeah it was unfortunate but it's the price we had to pay to be an American...I honestly don't even ever discuss it because in my culture, there's more dignity in putting a loaded gun in your mouth over using your past struggles to victimize yourself...i still have issues with society and how everyone takes being an American for granted when we paid such a heavy price but to each his own...I have a roof over my head and food on my plate...I honestly didn't even consider myself an American until about 5 years ago after being here for over 35 years

Yes, but you should also appreciate the struggles people fought for to be Russian or even to be Afghan. International relations has a very bloody and terrible history. What I seek is the positive aspects from all systems. I think commies had a good vision for the world and good goals in ending poverty and reducing class inequity. But they often went too far into tyranny to achieve this, and that brought with it its own set of economic inefficiencies and problems. Capitalism and freedom have led to very high QOL for some, but it often tends to be married to military imperialism to sustain the supply of cheap labor and resources. There ought to be some kind of middle ground that leads to a more just and equitable multipolar world of indivisible security and peaceful trade and cooperation, sensibly regulated but not tyrannical, and where human rights are still respected and protected. We can do better than all the mistakes from the past and learn from them.

I will say this: the Russians and Chinese collectively paid a far heavier price to be Russian and Chinese than the Americans did to be Americans. So think of what it means to them when we insist on ourselves and impose our ways on them.

I used to feel similarly, but many racists informed me this was, in fact, not my country. I also saw many videos from the US government and statements from US officials that confirmed that they, in fact, do not represent me or my beliefs. So I am basically a born American, but will never be a "real" American. And frankly, considering what being a "real" American means and what "real" Americans have done and continue to do to this planet, I say "Good".

I could post a long list of US and Angloid injustices, but you being likely Muslim are probably well aware of them.

There is the America that hosts us -- that was proud to take those who fled oppression and give them freedom and opportunity and treat them with dignity. But that America is mostly a lie. And it is rapidly dying, as can be readily seen in the fascist rhetoric from mainstream political leaders. There is also the matter of brain drain and ulterior motives. It's cynical and sad to say the only reason you are American is that Americans hated Soviets. Meanwhile in Yemen, they condoned the same thing that happened to you, for example. At the end of the day, this is just a country. What matters is how we better society and humanity.

Easy, here's how:

I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
My dark grave awaits, my fate is revealed - But I'm not afraid to die

I condemn both, and said as much earlier. Or did you miss the bit about Brezhnev's policies?

There are so many people here who cannot seem to read or even string sentences together properly. Public education is another benefit of a communist society.

Interestingly, Brezhnev's vision was closer to Trotsky's than Stalin's. Stalin didn't really want a worldwide crusade.
