Marxism is kind of fanatical by design, right? Hence why I don't really support it despite it being far-left.
I mean usually the wealthy don't give up chit without a fight. It doesn't have to be that bloody though. It just so happened that historically, communist countries emerged from feudalism, fascism, or other illiberal systems where bloodshed was more necessary. It could emerge relatively peacefully. And social democracy itself has emerged peacefully in very developed countries.
