He would also tell his kids every so often that he'd give them ten grand if he couldn't get his weight down to a certain number by a certain deadline, and he won every time.

Easily one of the most tedious forms of exercise ever invented, srs. I’d never touch a weight again if it wasn’t for all the benefits.

I do...extreme calisthenics.....not really sure what to call it. Maybe dime store gymnast. I can full front lever, advance tuck planche and both are getting better. I skin the cat to a German hang so deep that I am at the point of shoulder dislocate....kinda scary. I am very flexible, can full pancake, almost full front split both sides.....middle splits still sucks.

I go to the gym and listen to music I like and train. Besides the above and much more I am learning to balance on a slackline and hanging inverted with my inversion boots. Working out is not boring at all.

I agree with this, but the OP is most likely talking about the typical weightlifting routine most people adhere to.

discipline *******
lifting weights is meditative for me. yes i do the same movements but because I'm very familiar with the movements I can go some where else in my mind. getting jacked is just a byproduct.

I work out in my basement, and it’s like a form of mental meditation as I blast music, don’t look at my phone at all, and feel the citrulliine pumps after each set.

Then I always end with either 2 miles of echo bike, or some HIIT.

If you approach the gym with the negative mindset that it’s a chore, or if you feel like you’re being too restrictive with your diet and it’s not fun then that’s a you problem. Take ownership of your own life and find another activity that you do enjoy or find someplace easy to cut cals, like no more soda or juice.

Nice. Yeah maybe give calisthenics a try OP. Or some parkour stuff. Tell me this don't look like fun:

gymceling hard is retarded. I cringe so hard at my early 20s when I was a religious gymcel counting calories and keeping a journal. its so boring now after a decade of lifting, only way I will ever make any more progress is if i hop on cell tech. playing sports and cardio are much better for you. nobody cares about your physique or lifts anyways.

No one cares about how much you lift yeah, but if you ever looked good yourself you would know how important it is to be lean. Having a lean face is the most important thing in terms of physical attractiveness as a male. If that's you in your pic, you obviously don't understand this. I have a fat friend who I kept trying to encourage to lose fifty pounds, but he was way too pussy to commit to a diet. So he'll always be a fat **** and never experience what I'm talking about lol.
