Would Respect Trump So Much If He Quit + Endorsed Ramaswamy

Didn't know anything about the guy before, but he seems to be a competent well spoken candidate who also aims to reform the three letter agencies and "drain the swamp".

It would be a real act of putting the country above his own ego given that the Deep State is obviously committed to neutralizing Trump as a viable candidate for the office.
Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy is an American entrepreneur. He is a candidate in the 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries. Ramaswamy founded the biopharmaceutical company Roivant Sciences in 2014, after working as an investment partner.
- is a minority w/immigrant parents

- graduated Harvard

- is against racial quotas, says that racism is real, but not specific to one race against all others

- wants to reform the corrupt FDA and is familiar w/issues there due to his business experience

- plans to de-throne "permanent Washington" which currently exerts power over the Executive as the President doesn't have the power to fire people at the agencies

- suggests an 8 year term limit for some public offices [not clear if he means ALL of them, which seems needless, but I could see some limitation on the leader of any given agency]

- says he will change the funding process to give power back to Congress [a return to "may spend" from "shall spend"]


Worth a watch. He is very coherent and seems passionate without straying into being untethered.




@ 34:00 Malice asks about staffing and corruption

@ 39:00 they talk about the FDA

@ 42:30 his intention to run the government like an actual executive

@ 47:00 -ish thoughts on permanent Washington and the need to end civil service protections + federal budgeting

@ 1:00 says he wants to audit the Federal Reserve and see the headcount reduced there


There are a few in video ads, but they are short and not hard to skip. Malice asks some good questions and gives Ramaswamy time to speak at some length.

Probably true. But if Vivek got into office and followed through on his stated intentions Trump could enjoy some legit bragging rights for stepping aside and turning over the reins to a younger fit candidate.

He claims that this is a lie sown by his opposition and that he has been active against things like ESG and the WEF agenda. Says that they put his picture up on their website without his permission and refused to remove it when he asked them to. Says he is filing suit against them for this.

Is it though?

I would say that arming a population to fight their own battle as they choose is not a neocon position. So far as I can tell the neocons are pro US intervention in foreign nations and are all in on a nice profitable war which gives them an excuse to take more money from taxpayers and move it to their own pockets.

From a quick search the working age population of Taiwan is about 16 million. Let's say maybe half are willing/able to own and use a weapon...8 million. A good rifle and ammo looks like maybe $3K or $4K depending. My math sucks but maybe $24B to $32B???

So for $32B we could arm the population of Taiwan so that they can at least be a PITA to mainland China for decades without starting any sort of big international incident.

And IMO he would have a much better chance of getting elected because they can't come at him for the crime of being a white male candidate and also he is 37, not due to move into a nursing home soon.

Trump doesn't move the needle if he can't get into office and there is a full press on to make sure that doesn't happen. Even if he isn't convicted of anything and is able to secure the Republican nomination do you believe that election tampering is off the table?

Not white so they can't say anything? Why do you want to pander to them and play their game? If election tampering isn't off the table, and they let this other guy in, he's just another insider, so what difference does it make if he wins?

He's polling at 2.5% right now. I think if he truly has good ideas, they will come out during the primaries. But it's way too early for anyone to endorse him yet. He's an unknown

Trump has a better chance of success if he endorses Haley, Scott, or even his former running mate Mike Pence.

Ramaswamy has little office experience (I know Trump technically didn't either, but he had been publicly outspoken about politics for 30 years before he ran). Ramawamy's Hindu faith could be an issue with GOP voters, unfortunately; and he is even further right on cultural issues than DeSantis

Even with Trump's endorsement, Ramaswamy wouldn't gain much traction

2] It isn't about pandering, it is disarmament. Can't shame minorities for voting for a Republican who isn't white. And we had a "first black President". Being Indian he could run as the "first Asian President" or "first minority Republican President".

Are we pretending that the US and China are not in conflict? It may not be openly acknowledged, but it's happening. See: US attempting to prevent Chinese ownership/production of advanced micro chips, China putting a "training base" in Cuba, China dumping US Treasuries/trying to move away from the US$, the US poking at Taiwan as it suits, etc.




I don't know if the Taiwanese want to own guns. I believe that Taiwan would prefer to maintain autonomy from mainland Chinese rule. I know that a militia or mandatory military service isn't a new concept and IIRC still exists in Israel and Switzerland...maybe Turkey?

While I know Trump is motivated to make the country better, his own ego is even more of the reason he wants to be POTUS again. So there's no way he's dropping out unless he has a health problem. Obviously if it's down to him and Dementia Biden I'll vote Trump, especially since Kamala is backup, but I wish he had sat this out. He's so polarizing and corporatist media has such a stake in taking him out that him staying in is what might give us President Harris, who we'll be deemed 'racist' for not approving of.

1. Neither, both are stupid options when the winner is a weak RINO. We don't need more of the same, which is what everyone else is. It can't be someone palatable for the establishment. It needs to be someone that makes them lose their chit the way Trump does, and we have Trump.
