Being married in a big city must SUCK.

Been here in Chicago for 5 days now. The amount of 9/10 women walking around has been off the charts. Can literally stand on virtually any street corner for 5 minutes and see 10+ women walking by that would be definite bangs or would wife. Having seen all these good looking women really made me think to myself how could any one man tie himself to one chick for the rest of his life, especially if living in a big international city. Can't marry them all but damn, I'd try to hold out as long as I could and enjoy all the different flavors first.

Living in a smaller city or on the outskirts and getting married would be easier and more understandable. But when you go out and you constantly run into top tier women (by American standards) it would be SO hard not to eye fuk or try getting a number. Alas, cest la vie.

lol bro Chicago is acually a city where the average guy is hotter than the average girl (no homo). Go to LA, NYC, or the south (charlotte, atlanta, nashville) if you want true honeys on every corner.

I lived in Chicago for a few years and its solid though. Basically an extension of college, and attractive chicks are a dime a dozen. You can extend your college lifestyle of bars and hookups there until basically your early 30s.

Definitely agree the temptation would be too strong to stay there once married

Not sure if I'll go out before I leave on Monday. I had to hit 3 bars on Thursday before I found a decent place. I tried Mirusaaki - nope. O'Toole's - nope. Spybar was closed. Tried The Underground - nope. Ended up a Celeste which turned out alright.

You must of been in the wrong area my friend. Everytime I go out while waiting for a cab/uber in from of my hotel I'm counting 10+ smash/marry chicks walking by while I wait. Face/teds are #1 factors for me and so far it's been pretty high.

Biggest difference between NYC/Chicago is that here you don't need to be uber rich. NYC you need the $$ to go with the looks/lifestyle. Here it seems most of the hotties are with your average guy who at least has a job/car/isn't broke. Only way you're seeing top dimes in NYC is if you're emptying your bank account every night or you have a sustainable ability to keep within high end circles. The other side of the fence for hotties in NYC is that they're either already baby mommas to dropout ghetto guys or they've somehow managed to climb out but still have that deep rooted hood mentality. They're sexy AF but once they open their mouth - air out of a balloon.

That's all south side. Chicago is split into 2 areas. The city and Englewood. Looking at the map, anything south of I-55 is Englewood/South Chicago and north of that is the city. All of the stuff you hear about is coming from I-55 south or way out west or way out north towards Milwaukee. The city itself, haven't had any problems whatsoever except for a few homeless stuff but that's typical.

Yea this is pretty spot on. The cultures are pretty different.

In the south you don’t even need to be in shape. You can be a fat balding back office manager at some bank and have a 8/10 wife (if you’re cool with her being a stay at home mom airhead). Seriously you can be borderline obese and as long as you were in a frat at an SEC school you’re Golden

Chicago is a bit tougher. You actually need to be fit as a guy, competition is stronger. You also need a decent career (but you don’t need to be rich). The girls you’re going after are big ten alums, wisconsin indiana osu Michigan etc. they are smart and more ambitious but also Midwestern so not completely vapid like the coasts. But you can be pretty average accountant type guy and get attractive girls but you need to be somewhat attractive yourself


Nyc and DC are for materialistic sloots. You can smash in nyc if you are some art bum and play that angle, but a lot of it is who do you work for and how much you make. Absolutely bleak. Don’t think La is much better , there having a six pack is table stakes


All in Chicago is a very good market for guys. That said if you’re a guy in Chicago and like a 7/10 then you can move to an Indy or Columbus and be a 8/10 or 9/10 because the competition is weaker. Big fish small pond type thing

Imo worst dating markets for dudes are SF, and the PNW

this is the first thread I've seen where people aren't chitting all over Chicago for it's crime

and anecdotally every person I've talked to on here and even other places tells me not to live there
