I just checked the updated tier list for all the classes, and it has changed significantly. Hammer of the ancients is now ranked number one, going from A tier to S tier. Summoner Necro is now S, and bone spear is A. Blizzard now replaces Shards for sorcerer and bumped just 1 place in to low S.

WD and Barb were my mains on D3, and I was very disappointed in barbarian for D4. There was not enough cool down to run the sharks properly, so the new build only uses one, rather than three. I might jump back on and see how he does.

the helltides cinders are only dropping, maybe 1-2 from a pack of mobs.

adam fletcher from diablo 4 dev team on twitter says they are investigating the problem (its a bug not a nerf)

i'd probably not waste your time on helltides today til this is fixed

Ehhh. Essentially done with the game. So boring now. Nothing to really grind for and sense of progression is just ****ed. Stopped at lvl 89 Rogue. My other friends also got bored.

It looks like they changed something with sigil crafting as well. I'm no longer getting the top tier dungeons when I craft them. I've made 20 and they're all super long dungeons with bad returns.

Edit; just did an event in helltide. Confirmed issue with aberrants. I got 12 total, and at a cost of 250 for chests, not sure it's possible to get more than one chest in one hour.

It's amazing how quickly they will fix some thing that gives us bonuses, but take forever to fix some thing it's ripping us off

Yeah That’s not updated at all.

Also no, IV has been notoriously schit for years, often posting flat out incorrect information. And taking a glance at those “tier lists” based on nothing It’s still the case.

Whoever ranked HotA Barb as S and Pen shot Rogue as B (two ranks lower) for leveling should be flogged and forced to actually play the game.

I've enjoyed this guy's videos. Very informative and knowledgeable about gaming and his videos are entertaining. He nails it in the video. Blizzard very well could have killed the game with this latest patch. They pretty much nerfed everything, created new problems, and fixed none of the problems that are plaguing the game that a vast majority of players have said are major issues.

when you read about them they are actually pretty powerful (on paper of course) and we shall see what they actually do in game

Here are the problems with that

1. Not everyone will be participating in the season. Blizzard is doing this backwards; they should have changed the Seasonal content, NOT the characters. The major problem with this is that then they would have to admit they REALLY fuarked up the game. It was destined to fail from the start. They stated season 1 is already concrete, so nothing will get fixed until season 2, which is almost in concrete now too.

2. When the season ends, not even the seasonable players will continue playing because they will lose those power upgrades.

This is why I think the game is finished. The very foundation of the game is bad, and that would require going back to the drawing board, which they won’t do.

The hearts are not as good as they seem. In fact they don't even seem good. There's a few "decent" ones and the rest are straight garbage.

Notice none of the big streamers (aka the people that these changes really affect) are not excited about any of them.

I was gonna quote like 5 posts ITT, most of which involved Kraken. But too lazy.

The icy veins tier list literally says up top: Updated: July 17th, 2023 at 7:11pm. Before the patch notes went out.

Use Maxroll instead, it was updated on patch notes day, and explicitly references that this is the latest news (from their perspective at least) for Season 1:

To be fair, the individual builds were apparently updated on IV - well, much later on -, but the main page didn't reflect that. And after checking it still doesn't. Not that it matters, because (just to point out something specific) the Pen shot leveling build is still super fuking retarded.

My sorc is now essentially unplayable unless I go down several nightmare tiers.

I can't clear the same dungeons I used to without failing from dying so much. My damage feels like it has been literally cut in half, while the damage I take feels far higher than it ever was.
Lmfao what a joke. Glad studios that are worth a fk have games coming out soon to play, like the new Cyberpunk DLC.

Would love to know what kind of bull**** they will spew about all this at their "campfire" live Friday.

Not only are you forced to go down in tiers due to reduced damage and survivability, you're also going to get less experience because of it lol.
