Aren't we all the son of god?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I think understanding God perfectly is impossible for us at this stage (1 Cor 13:12). We just have to go with what the Bible teaches.

I believe that God had to give a portion of Himself in order to send forth His Son. In this way, Jesus wasn't created, as He always existed because it is God Himself (John 1:1-2); however, they are clearly distinct in that the Lamb (Jesus) and the Father will be present as individual Beings in Heaven (Rev 22:3-5). They both share the Deity of God (Col 2:9) but are both distinct Persons.

Jesus gives us the opportunity to have a right relationship with the Father (John 14:6). Jesus is the Son of God, He paid the price for our sins at the cross, is seated at the right hand of God, and is returning to Judge the world and hand everything back to the Father (1 Cor 15:24).

Today is the day of salvation (2 Cor 6:2). One day (soon) it will be too late for people to get in the arc (1 Peter 3:18-20).

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Pro 9:10). The wisdom of the world is foolishness to God (1 Cor 3:18-19).

It's been the same message from the beginning: repent and believe (Mark 1:15). The problem is that mankind loves their sin and this separates us from God (John 3:19).

Cool. Now we just need to find out who Jesus's dad was, and we'll know who God is.

yes i don't think we can fully understand it, but trinitarians make it a salvation issue saying if you don't believe it you're damned which is stupid. Jesus never said if you don't believe the trinity you're going to hell

Jesus wasn't created, he was begotten at some point in pre existence out of the fathers substance which makes him different from creation

Jesus is the beginning and end, the alpha and omega

But the father doesn't have a beginning. That's what I believe

You don't believe in the rapture?

The Bible teaches believers will go through tribulation (Rev 2:10) but be spared the Great Tribulation (Rev 3:10). There comes a point when the true church (the true believers) are gone (Rev 18:23). When you see the words 'come up hither' in Rev 11, it is a picture of the rapture. The two witnesses are a picture of all the believers who are bringing the whole Gospel which includes preaching about God's judgment.

We will definitely be gone before the 5th angel sounds in Rev 9. That's when the abyss is opened and Satan's demons are released (Jude 1:6) on the earth. Wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go through that.

It's a time when men will seek death and not find it (Rev 9:6), but people will still be able to kill themselves with a gun or jumping off a tall building or by whatever means. The death that they are seeking is a spiritual death (Gal 2:20, Col 2:20, Col 3:3) which means there is no hope of anyone being saved in the Great Tribulation, that's why it is so terrible (Matt 24:21). The ones who go through the GT who are saved have been sealed first (Rev 7:3).

I don't say this dogmatically, this is just what I presently believe the Bible teaches on this subject. Believing in the rapture is not a salvation issue and I'm certain we will all be corrected to one degree or another at some point about our beliefs.

Interesting you bring this up because it’s something I thought about the other day. I’m basically Agnostic but I believe in many Christian ideals. My family is culturally Catholic. It’s difficult for me to get behind the Holy Trinity though. If Jesus was the son of God, how is he also God? He was a man. He may have been a perfect man who prophesied God’s will and performed miracles, but he was still a human being. There’s nothing wrong with a faith system holding a human prophet in high regard. Why elevate him to divine status?

If Jesus IS Lord and all of us are made in His image, then aren’t we ALL God? Obviously not. That doesn’t make sense.

I was watching a video about Islam and their explanation made way more sense. Humans are the children of Adam and Eve, who were created by God. But God is a single divine untouchable force. There is no “son” in human form. While many aspects of Islam such as the seemingly endless harsh rules do not resonate with me, the fundamentals kind of do srs.

Everything else? I align more with Christianity.

However IMO the idea of literal divinity of Jesus is Christianity’s biggest flaw.

Hail Godin and polytheist religions.

All semitic trinity based abrahamic religions that worship Ishtar (Isis/Mary/Semiramis) & Cronus/Shiva knowingly or unknowingly are garbage.

Judaism is paganism.

Talmud = Kabbalah
Judaism = Kabbalah Lite for the jew
Christianity/Catholicism (and all variants) = Kabbalah Lite for the Gentile
Islam = Kabbalah Lite for the Gentile
Freemasonry = Kabbalah Lite to Kabbalah (Depending on the degree) for the narcissistic/psychopathic Gentile

In a sense we are gods but with a little 'g' (Psalm 82:10:34-38). Satan is also a god (little g); he is referred to as the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4).

John 1:1-14 explains the Deity of Christ. When Christ rose from the dead and Thomas said he wouldn't believe unless he put his fingers in the holes, and then once he did do that, Thomas exclaims: "my lord and my God" (John 20:28) and Jesus does not correct Thomas. John in the book of Revelation bowed down to worship the angel twice and was corrected immediately (Rev 19:10, Rev 22:8-9). God will not share His glory with another (Isaiah 42:8).

Jesus is our God and Jesus has a Father who is also our God. They share the same deity because there is only one God (1 Cor 8:6, Deut 6:4) yet are distinct persons. If someone doesn't believe that Jesus shares the same deity of being God along with the Father, then they have a Jesus which can not save them from their sins.

"In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. - John 14:20"

Imagine you have a son and he signs off a delivery in your name. Jesus is our eternal high priest. All worship we give him goes directly to the Father.

"and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the FATHER"

Even when he taught us how to pray, he said to do it directly to the Father

"Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God,"

I still consider Jesus divine, to me he's literally the son of God. Not just a metaphor like trinitarians imply but also not just a prophet. But this divinity doesn't come from himself, but the Father who gives it to him, the same way a human Father gives authority to his Son

I think it makes perfect sense for God to have a Son. Why did God create humans in the first place? Because he literally has the desire to have children just like we do. If it was just about creating things to worship him he would of stopped at the angels

That's the way I view it. From the Muslim perspective it seems irrational for God to create anything to begin with

The true church is raptured before the GT. The 12 tribes of Israel are sealed in Rev 7 beforehand. This means they go through the GT but are saved in the end.

Jesus is God, a separate being, but still God. The trinity is true, & there is no salvation for the person that does not believe Jesus is God.

Also the rapture is quite true as well. The Greek word is Harpazo. It appears 13 times.

Just because a word is used doesn't prove the doctrine... In fact nearly all the verses it's used it has a negative connotation

"there is no salvation for the person that does not believe Jesus is God."

Wrong. Do you think the thief on the cross thought Jesus was God? No, of course he didn't. You're a pharisee who cares more about teachings of man than the truth

The grass of the earth are believers without roots. The trees are believers with roots

It's not just talking about Jews, but all professing Christians
Where did you get this notion?

Revelation is chronological..as in everything happens in order, the church is raptured before the GT..just as every biblical narrative foretells it throughout the Bible.
Write what things have come, what thou sees, & what will come.

Also as far as Jesus is God..the same God head as the Trinity..

Philippians 2:6-11

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wrong. Do you think the thief on the cross thought Jesus was God? No, of course he didn't. You're a pharisee who cares more about teachings of man than the truth
Lol, Jesus was crucified because He equated Himself to that of The Father. “I AM”

And yes, the thief on the cross believed. There is no salvation to the person that does not recognize Jesus is Lord God.

A man cannot take the place of another man’s sin, only God is able to do so. It’s a very dangerous game you are playing leading people astray.

The verses speaks for themselves but we can go through each one if you like.. the rapture is true. And Jesus is God

LMAO yeah, the guy totally believed the doctrine of the trinity and accepted Christ as the 2nd God man person of the trininty.

Like I said, you're a pharisee that teaches the doctrines of man

You haven't even researched unitarian arguments, the trinity was the first thing you were taught so you believe it.

"He equated Himself to that of The Father. “I AM”

This is a common view that is easy to debunk. You're saying that Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, Yahweh"

Does that make sense? No, it doesn't

But do you know what does make sense? "Before Abraham was, I am." Literally what it says. He existed before Abraham

I Am was known to the Jews to mean one thing, & one thing only..that Jesus equated Himself equal to the Father..you read the writings of man, & not the Bible.

Again..

Philippians 2:6-11

I’ll tell you what..it is very simple..who is speaking in Revelation 22:13-15?

Just gonna ignore what I said?

"“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.”

This makes sense, "YHWH has sent me unto you"

What DOESN'T make sense, is 'Before Abraham was, YHWH'.

"Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God"

Even in heaven he is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is clearly not equal in an all encompassing sense, this verse is referring to authority as the Father placed all things in his hands

If you disagree, then what do you make of him saying the Father is greater than he is? He doesn't know the day or the hour... Etc

"I’ll tell you what..it is very simple..who is speaking in Revelation 22:13-15?"

That's easy, it's Jesus the Son of God, who had a beginning unlike the Father.

Want to attempt to answer some of mine now?

Sure.

-And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.”

This makes sense, "YHWH has sent me unto you"

This is exactly what Christ was declaring, He is equal with God, the same..I Am.

The response of the Jews to Jesus’ “I AM” statement indicates they clearly understood what He was declaring—that He was the eternal God incarnate. Jesus was equating Himself with the "I AM" title God gave Himself in Exodus 3:14.

If Jesus had merely wanted to say He existed before Abraham’s time, He would have said, “Before Abraham, I was.” The Greek words translated “was,” in the case of Abraham, and “am,” in the case of Jesus, are quite different. The words chosen by the Spirit make it clear that Abraham was “brought into being,” but Jesus existed eternally (see John 1:1). There is no doubt that the Jews understood what He was saying because they took up stones to kill Him for making Himself equal with God (John 5:18).

It’s why they called for His Death..literally. Again, only God can forgive sin, not man, if Jesus is not God, there was no point in His death

He is sitting at the right hand of the Father, because he is a separate being, but still the same God.

He did not know the day or the hour because …read again Philippians..the verse I quoted you..think this time

No, that is not Jesus speaking. And now I know you probably haven’t read the Bible. Would you like to try again?
