yeah and she cheated so no alimony. just divide assets 50/50 that were gained in marriage. So it still cost a lot, but I paid a lot of money to be MORE financially secure lol.

$60k beaver money is like $45k American. That’s about what I make and I’m lower middle class at best. Then account for the higher taxes and cost of living up north. I can confirm you’re going to feel the pain of inflation.

Personally my buying power has been nuked. I’m basically living the same standard of living as I was when I made $14/hr in 2018 srs. Still paycheck to paycheck. Still $1k in my savings in a good month. Spending more on food and transportation. Not to mention the housing market has skyrocketed making any viable path to homeownership out of reach. It blows cawk.

The biggest things I've noticed were gas prices and price of protein powder, srs. I can get bars for cheap all day every day, but decent powder is hard to find for a decent price.

Aside from that I just stock up on groceries when certain items are on sale. Picked up like 8 dozen eggs for $2.20/dozen back when everyone else was paying $8/dozen. Chit was dank af

Just wait until next Summer when these prices are still the same and unemployment is 2% higher and everyone's wages are depressed and people are paying their student loans again.

Does Raising Interest Rates Increase Unemployment?

It can have that effect. By raising the bar for investment, higher interest rates may discourage the hiring associated with business expansion. They also cap employment by restraining growth in consumption. If demand drops, businesses may reduce output and cut jobs.

I know those feels. Slaving away at 50k right now. No idea how to double that at minimum. Been thinking about real estate and or possibly getting into smp as another source of income. How the **** do I make 200k a year here?
