Imagine lifting and not doing leg day... Wtf is the point. Deadlifts are fun as fuk. The first time I banged my girlfriend, she looked at me and said "you definitely don't skip leg day." She likes my legs. She likes my lats the best though. She says they give her something to hold on to in the bedroom

Mirin lifts. You're absolute unit. My best squat is only 10lbs less than yours.

Thanks bro. Yeah I haven't really been able to train my barbell squat the last couple years after back injury and have discs on my spinal cord. Every once in a while I load it up and probably will this month. I train belt squats mostly and have got those to 645 3x8 and my deadlift shot up. Should be some carry over to back squat I imagine. Hoping for 600 but we'll see

I'll post a pic when I'm not drunk. Here's a video of a squat tho. 535 when I was natty and 200lbs. I'm 225 and not natty but haven't trained for strength since.

I wish I could do belt squats. I feel like that's the goat variation for quads with minimal back fatigue.

They are my favorite lower body exercise. Obviously I'd rather do squats but don't feel like there's much drop off with belt squats + deadlifts. Still hits low back and hamstrings with deadlifts and then can really over load quads with belt squats without additional low back fatigue. Am still able to get my back squat stronger without back squating with that combo. Thankfully I don't get low back pain doing deadlifts

Depending on foot placement you can target quads and/or hamstrings on the belt squat too

I do leg press first and then high bar squat now. It destroys my quads with way less low back fatigue.

Nice. Makes sense, unless you are a powerlifter it's probably best to squat after pre-exhausting the legs

I never competed but I always liked squatting heavy as fuk. I'm friends with one guy at my gym that competes but he does usapl. I can't do that though lol. I'm not just gonna compete by myself.
