im 38, degen maxxed my whole adult life, countless one night stands with sloots, cant even remember most of them because I was usually blacked out. for sure this way of life damaged me. for the past year im in a relationship with a 23 year old good girl, family oriented, talks about kids, marrage etc. if I was ever to make the leap and start a family its now

but fukk, I dont think Ill do it. I wake up everyday, remember Im in a relationship before even opening my eyes and my day is ruined. its like Im in prison, the outside world is not for me anymore. I look out my window, all I see is sloots, go outside all I see sloots. I cant take it anymore. I just wanna go on tinder and bang. even if I met the perfect girl I will get tired of banging her after a couple months. In the past few years I got lucky and met some awesome ones but I broke it off with all of them. I dont think normal family life is for me. Im a bad case of dismissive avoidant attachment style or whatever.

Not saying to not give marriage a shot but sometimes despite one's best efforts (husband or wife) things go awry. However, it is true that as you get older if you are singleton you get cast aside so couples/kids can hang out together.

Kind of agree but most parents rarely see their children or grandchildren. It'd be different if it was 50 years ago when kids only moved to the next town over.

This is me minus the drinking.

Everytime I’m in a “all purpose” relationship I feel the life being sucked out of me. I can’t get past this trapped feeling that completely consumes me.

I’ve become financially successful and I’m 39 and still look late twenties / early thirties. I get get girls easily with a little effort and live in San Diego at the beach where there’s a constant supply.

It’s not like I’m pimping constantly I just hate the feeling of having to answer to someone. The thought of doing that til the day I die is just overwhelming.

I don’t want to have regrets but I feel so much more alive being officially single.

Not sure what my plan is going forward…

They lose all their social skills, fewer friends, less interactions that don't involve the family lol.

Married people are only desirable to their spouse and even that is a maybe lol.
