tracking protein is part of body dysmorphia that people who lift usually have...it's so common/profitable that medical professionals don't even diagnose it when hidden under the guise of "fitness".

how many people have you heard of having health problems/dying from too little protein?

Obviously.

The point is,you don't know that number.

Ok.

So since no one knows that number, you over supply the resources so as to optimize the potential.

Obvious logic is too obvious to even feel good explaining to people...

she was likely retarded. a normal person is going to naturally have hunger for foods that have what it takes to live.

The "you need more than 100 grams of protein" is ALL marketing BS and most of the "studies" are funded by supplement/protein shake companies.

It's a fcking scam.

On average 200 grams a day for me. I don't find it hard to hit those numbers either. Real food. Not frozen chit "meats" full of soy protein either, or protein powder.

I find ground beef is the GOAT energy boost.

Guys who say you don't need more than X amount are always tiny and in bad shape or don't have pics.

The guys who say 200+ are always gigantic.

I notice a tremendous difference between 30g and 200g brah.

Now 100g vs. 200g might be a different story. I honestly think you can easily get away with .6/lb of body weight and excel in your gains.

I notice a huge difference when eating low protein. Ive tried the high carb high fat low protein thing multiple times before and it went terribly wrong. Plus, eating low protein sucks even without the gains/feeling aspect, brb cant have actual dense food, what am i supposed to eat instead to reach my 3.5k calorie goal? a kilogram of oatmeal by itself?

Biologically, low protein doesnt make sense. Imagine a million years ago, a human moving and hunting all day burning 3-5k daily calories, you think they would just go to a 7-eleven and buy some cocoa puffs? Or just stuff their face with 100 apples to reach their calories? Nah man, they would hunt, they would devour a deer, a few squirrels, multiple fishes etc to get their calories (fat and protein)
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Sounds a bit like correlation=/= causation here. Most of the people consuming 200+g of protein are pro bbers who are obviously not natty. The extra protein helps but training, good genetics, and celltech are all far greater contributors to why they look so good.

Hey guys seems like certain eating habits and weight training gives people good physiques

OMG CORRELATION =/= CAUSATION

Maybe you should learn that it isn't "correlation disproves causation" and it is rather "correlation doesn't NECESSARILY mean cauasation" you uneducated reddit *******. Correlation can prove causation just fine.

They would have good physiques regardless of if they ate 130 or 200g of protein you nonce. If 200g of protein really is the secret to looking like an ifbb pro then why guys like Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman already mog your physique at age 16.

Most IFBB pros are eating 400-600 grams of protein a day. Time to pack up and go back to reddit f@gg0t. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Maybe the massive guys like Samson Dauda and Nick Walker. Google says Chris Bumstead only eats around 260-300g of protein and he weighs 230 shredded.

Cope ITT is unreal. Lol at thinking upping your protein actually helped you make gains without controlling for other variables.

Natty
IFBB Pro

pick one.

For natties who actually lift and especially do intense cardio, I'd stick with 1g/lean body weight. I know it's anecdotal for me, personally, but I notice strength and mass in size upping my protein intake, while lowering my carbs to maintain a caloric intake. Also, to eat that much protein, I had to limit my carbs just so I can eat that much without feeling like I'm going to burst.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

We don't need to discuss this.

Folks like..

Ryan Humiston
Jeff Nippard
Huberman
Lane Norton
Dr. Rhonda Patrick

All say 200+ protein is more effective than 30g for the day.

It's broscience at it's worst. Obviously protein intake matters but it seems like some people literally believe that more protein always= more gains.

Agreed, 1g/lb is definitely a sweet spot for the vast majority of people.
