Right, but again, I'll say this over and over, you Dont know what is right for yourself, so the goal is to provide excess resources in order to maximize the potential.

Maybe your body needs 87.6g of protein to do what it needs. Well, we cannot know that. So what's better? 30g or 230g?

230g is better

Maybe your body needs 117.3452g protein to do what it needs to do. What's better? 30g protein, or 230g protein?

Obviously 230g is better.

Maybe your body needs 15.0003g protein to do what it needs to do. What's better? 30g protein, or 230g protein? It's a wash, no difference.

So obviously overloading the resource maximizes potential.

Conclusion, maximize the resource.

Scientifically:
30-40g/meal optimizes MPS for around 4-5 hours
24/4=6

35g protein every 6 hours is what physically will cap most people.
Upward max is therefore around 180-200g/day, assuming youd wake up to eat in the middle of the night to maximize gains
More needed if you are on a very low calorie diet, training at incredible volumes and intensities, etc.

You guys eat 100 grs of protein if you want (30 would be retarded), you do you, but to say that nattys shouldnt care about protein, now thats some retarded **** (srs)

For natties who actually lift and especially do intense cardio, I'd stick with 1g/lean body weight. I know it's anecdotal for me, personally, but I notice strength and mass in size upping my protein intake, while lowering my carbs to maintain a caloric intake. Also, to eat that much protein, I had to limit my carbs just so I can eat that much without feeling like I'm going to burst.

Yes, but i achieved a pretty damn perfect physique for my standards as a natty as well. Didnt do that by eating 30 grs of protein thats for sure.

You achieved a damn perfect physique for your standards as a natty and you decided to jump on steroids when you are not competing or work as a fitness influence? lmao. Thanks for the laugh.

Do you think that's unbelievable?

I'm about capped as well as a natty and considering a cycle just to experience it for a while. Seems normal. I'm not competing or work as a fitness influencer at all

why should healthy/natty people be in continual pursuit of muscle and strength gains? doesn't there come a point where things are essentially as good as they'll get over the long term?

most men i've known in real life didn't give a shyt about protein intake...they just ate when they were hungry. some did some exercise or played sports or did physically demanding work.

but again...where are the people with health problems that we can say are from not eating enough protein? putting people in pursuit of protein is kinda like having them chase material possessions...lots of money to be made from people continually consuming and wanting more.

Obviously insanely stupid thing to do when you can't predict how your body will respond to PEDs.

Yep. TRT has many other benefits and way more important id say, its not only used for muscle/size gains.

Protein is the most important nutrient if you want to be muscular. I don't buy any supplements and haven't used protein powder in years. So I'm not making money shilling powders.

You should stick to at least 1g of protein per pound of body-weight as a minimum. I think even if you are 150lbs you should likely be eating at least 200g of protein per day.

Yeah, there's almost no scientific study that supports your claim.

the recommended amount for a 150lb man is what...50g? what would happen to this man if he simply did activities he enjoys and adds a few glasses of milk to his diet?

when you get into lifting weights to change the look of your body + drastic diet changes like having to consume 150-200g of protein daily...that's body dysmorphia. they way underestimate the number of men suffering from this now.

Maybe there's some undiscovered genetic element affecting rate of protein absorption, because regardless of what some people here are claiming I've genuinely never noticed any significant difference in athletic performance over 150g of protein and I weigh slightly over 180lbs. The only thing that happens to me if I eat 200g+ of protein is I get more bloated and constipated.

It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

How serious are you about your training? What are your lifts? Its not as simple as saying "everybody needs X amout of protein", it all depends on the person's genetics and lifestyle.

0.5 per pound of lean body mass is recommended for the average person. If you life 0.8-1 pound is ideal and a must. I’ve notice a huge difference
