Are the .gov study links in the article not legit?

Oh that depends on if you think the government studies on sugar and fat have been legit from the 50s to the 2000s leading to huge amounts of deaths and diabetes. Depends on if you think thr government studies on other topical health issues in the past 2 years are legit.

Government studies are bought and paid for to seek specific outcomes.

What if we left studies behind? What if we just used logic.

You there, sir, how much protein did your body need yesterday. Don't guess, tell me exactly. What about the day before? And the day before? The answer is you don't know. Nobody knows.

Follow up question, is it thr goal of weight lifters to maximize their gains? The answer is yes.

Ok so when the exact number us unknown, and the goal is to maximize potential, what would be the best route to take

1.) Estimate low
2.) Estimate exact
3.) Estimate high

With nothing but logic, the answer is Estimate high. We don't need a study for that.

This really comes down to inventory management of resources in the end.

If you're gonna take 1 sh*t per day for the next 4 weeks, and you Estimate anywhere between 10-20 squares of TP per sh*t, are you looking to Estimate the exact number of squares needed to whipe? Of course not! What if you sh*t more than expected! What if you're smart and realize sh*tting per TP square management is unnecessary when all you have to do is over-estimate by double or triple and just be certain you have the TP.

What a silly goal is to even think about only eating the bare minimum for your Estimate protein needs, not when maximizing potential by over estimating has no detriment to it (I acknowledge there are some nuances to detriment of protein intake but they are negligible for thr sake of this conversation of min/maxing protein intake for max gains potential)

If anyone ever invents the mechanism that tests your body each day to give you your exact protein needs and find out it'd 100g today and 185g tomorrow and 89g the day before and 210g the day before that and 12g the day before that, the best thing to do is to cover each day by hitting 200g+ each day so you're not leaving anything on the table

In conclusion, studies are unnecessary where common sense exists.

lol at thinking upping protein will somehow increase your bench max. You are better off consuming more carbs if your goal is strength gain

Protein is conspiracy by the Jewish supplement companies

By most accounts you really do not need that much

Except when cutting because then your body needs the proteins to protect your gains
