meals need to have a couple basic components.
Protein
Carbs
Veggies
I usually make three meals wirth at a time.
Good example is I almost always have some rice cooked. Rice cooker is less than $20 and is the easiest tool you can get, one button.
Veggies are simple as they can be either fresh or just frozen. Fresh is more work so if you dont want to do that, just microwave the frozens.
now just add a cooked meat. Chicken drumsticks in the air fryer and cheap and tasty,. make a three meal supply at a time.
Ground beef and chicken breasts are also very affordable and versatile. I use then where one breast should make three meals at least.
Just look up simple recipes for those and you are set.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I've made a number of threads about my protein baking adventures. If the search function works, you could look there. Basically baking things like cheesecakes, donuts, and muffins using healthy alternative ingredients including whey protein, nut/seed butters, ripe fruits, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, etc. You can get incredibly creative with it.

Orange chicken & Jasmine rice with broccoli on the side. The crispy bits of garlic and ginger mixed with the orange sauce is good.

crockpot chili using beans/tomato/tomato sauce/chicken breast/peppers/onion/chili powder/salt.... I buy canned stuff and rinse it, put it all in crock pot on HIGH for 5-6 hours.
I then have a chitload of meals for my week. I usually get like 5 meals out of it. Under $20.

I do a lot of crockpot cooking so I have meals for the week. Lately I've been making a weekly crockpot taco chili. It's delicious and so easy to make.
