Eh I've played most of the ones itt and tbh Hogwarts Legacy was the only one I finished while enjoying it the whole time instead of not finishing or forcing myself to finish. I'm not even a HP fan, seen all the movies maybe once or twice each.

It was a good story, but the combat was stale for me. I remember spamming the same moves to beat enemies. I think I stopped shortly after I beat all of the castle bosses, and then the edgy chick appeared. I think I played the game for another 2 or 3 hours after that.

3.5 years isn't an era, you can't count it as that and then be surprised we haven't had 10 years of releases in that short period. Also 2020 is when the pandemic started so production came to a near standstill. Barely any development was going on, people couldn't buy consoles etc. Did you forget all that stuff happened?

Given all that happened, we still got a very decent number of releases, and with great quality too.

I finished DKCTF, Ori 1, and Mighty No. 9. Deaths door is too unreasonable. **** it! Hollow knight is cool, as is cuphead. I still have levels to master and or to go back and finish.
