I’m probably actually going to return it because I didn’t realize it was 40% polyester (good thing they didn’t name it something misleading, like “plaid wool blazer”…). It feels more like felt than wool and doesn’t appear nearly as textured in person as it does in the pics.
And relief washes over me in an awesome wave

Ah, go figure. I picked up one just like that in navy blue at Macy's on a deal for about $100. Tommy Hilfiger surprised me.

It's Windows 11; not a fan initially, but it works just fine. I'm not sure I'm going to keep it even though I'm impressed by it. It has HDR 10 processing capability and can stream 4k, but I don't think the colors are as vibrant as I'd like. I did a comparison and it falls a bit short. Looks like I need a better integrated GPU by Nvidia to process Dolby Vision. Still doing research on what exactly I need. Sounds like Ryzen 7 could do it.

I could just get an Nvidia Shield, but I like the full capabilities of the PC.

Tesla lease ended. It was cool but I was ready to go back to gasoline. Picked up a low mileage garage queen 2022 X3M Competition. Previous owner put an aftermarket midpipe, dinan exhaust, cold air intakes and carbon/alcantara steering wheel and got it corrected/polished and Gtechniq Ultra/Exo ceramic coated. I'm taking it to my guy to get wheels off corrected/ceramic, PPF and tint next week.

Previous owner took it to a couple dyno days before the mods and it made 480 wheel HP on one and 502 on the other. Previous owner sent me dragy screenshots before the mods of 0-60 @ 3.55 sec and 1/4 mi 11.68 @ 117mph. For heavy SUV, it rolls out HARD.

Autopilot on this is actually better than the Tesla. LOL Elan PLS.

Mounting plate to get camera/gimbal etc on the ground and eye level with animals etc.

Loking to soon pull the trigger on a Nikon 300/2.8 (older one), which would be a big step up for me only having slower consumer grade lenses so far.

Trip to Vienna that I've been hoping to do for a while.

At Schönbrunn palace to see their summer concert (June 8th) outdoors. Schönbrunn also has the oldest, still operating (since 1790), and the highest highest ranked zoo in Europe so can hopefully get some good shots there.

xThat's beautiful! I bought my daughter an x3 but just the regular x30i version with M styling. It's supposed to arrive from South Carolina this week. Nowhere close to the performance of yours (which, honestly, I'm happy about), and definitely not close on the price. Is it RWD or AWD and what color is that?

I saw BMW released pics of the X2 today, and I'm considering getting one of those for myself.

Still had a bunch of flight points to spend before November, so booked this trip to the Faroe Islands for early August. Apartment/cottage by the water/bay. Then they have a ferry right there in this small village (Sørvágur), going to the westernmost island (mykines) with a bunch of birds and puffins. If lucky, I guess I can spot some whales and orcas as well. Then there's some awesome landscapes and hopefully viking history to explore.

Wife has an X4, daughter just got X3. I haven't bought a new car since 2004 when I used the rebate from a GM credit card to buy a Chevy trail blazer cheaply. Other than the fact that we'd have an x4, x3, and x2, I like the look of it (other than the 2024 color options). But none of ours will match that X3M!
