Most of my exes are in miserable situations. Either chronically single, have cheated on their husbands (more than one of them with me) or they are pretending that they are happy when they are obviously settling to not be lonely.

So I don't worry about them at all, but occasionally it gives me a good chuckle to look them up.

Well I have to because we share a son together.. I use to try and reconcile not just because we share a son but necause I genuinely loved this person but after she made it perfectly clear she hated my guts I had no choice but to give up trying but I still worry about if she's being treated good. Because my son is around it and because I was always very protective of her anyways. Not possessive just protective. She has a history of letting men treat her really bad and now im.not there to male sure that never happens again.

It's a shifty feeling but one you must learn to accept

My ex will contact me from time to time, mainly if she's really having a hard time and needs a few bucks to get through the month. I can tell she wants to talk to me but I always remind her I'm married now and she stops messaging. I don't wish any bad intentions on her, just hope she finds the happiness I have.

Yeah for sure. If children are involved you should keep it on good terms.

My ex's consistently hit me up a few times a year and happened a couple months ago. I completely ignore them. I don't have kids with any of them so when I break up, it's a complete breakup. I don't want any contact at all and tell them that during the break up. They haven't all been bad breakups but that's what was agreed upon.

I get that and with this particular ex I'm at that point, I've been married almost 3 years now next Feb. She's blocked everywhere except a yahoo email which is how she contacts me, I've been thinking it's time to close that line as well. I don't think she'll ever emotionally let go if I don't.

Yeah it's for the best imo. The relationship didn't work out, go separate ways and move on. Especially since you are married, it's not right for her to be contacting you. I don't know your marriage but I doubt your wife would be impressed by that.

My wife gets screen shots and the play by play everytime my ex does come around, I'm lucky enough to have someone that trusts me 100% so she doesn't care either way.

I have 1 ex who I feel bad for and do hope things work out for. She is fundamentally broken, probably has BPD but tries to be a good person, she just can't be.

She can't ever be in my life, but I do hope she finds some way to be happy.
