You say this but in practice it never ends up this way. Trump raised the debt more per year than even Obama did for example.

Everyday the Republicans fail harder than the day before.
If nothing else, I admire the consistency.

Listening to McCarthy's speech right now. Sounds like a concession speech that the losing candidate gives on Election Night

He will probably follow GOP SOTH tradition and become a lobbyist within 5 years like Boehner and Ryan.

The problem that i am having with his speech is that he knew all along the conditions of his speakership came with and he did nothing to improve the conditions of government

Kevin called their bluff and he lost , he thought they weren't serious

The freedom caucus held him to his word, this is Kevin's fault. He did it to himself

The Democrats have a candidate for leader in Hakeem Jeffries. If just a handful of Republicans in Biden districts could vote for Jeffries, you could have a Dem for speaker in a Repub-led House

That would be amazing and would sum up the MAGA era perfectly. Unlikely to happen (like less than a 0.1% chance) but one can dream

It is, and always has been leftist. I’m not surprised that you didn’t know that.

Lobbying is the result of over regulation. Regulations are socialist. Therefore lobbying is leftist.

I’m betting you reply to this with more trolling, but it’s clear you don’t know anything about politics or economics.

They don't have anyone on deck. It is why McCarthy made it through in the first place.

They got concessions to make that happen and then he decided to ignore them. Single issue bills are extremely important if ever we are to get this country functioning properly.

I’m trying to figure out when less government spending, low gas prices, single issue bills, etc became were “far right”. The signs of an MSM parrot is obvious when they attack those who stand up to the establishment. But I guess that’s how it works with these individuals; interrupting the status quo takes courage, because the collective will hate you for it, and you will likely be standing alone when you do it.
