Why are people from other countries so sure about who the bad guys are in war?

Take Ukraine and Russia for instance

Pretty much everyone is on the "Fuk Russia" bandwagon, but wtf do us Americans, cut off from most of the world and focuses on our own country a vast majority of the time, know about the happenings in foreign wars?

It's like people think Putin just started to twirl his non existent villain mustache and go "You know what? I'm gonna start a war today", and then went in on Ukraine.

Now maybe they are the bad guys here, or maybe there were strategic reasons why they should have chosen war. What do I know? What does anyone, barring those in the know higher up in our government, actually know about who is right or wrong in these foreign conflicts?

The problem is, people aren't as smart as you to even ask that question in the first place.

The Ukraine cheerleaders on here that have absolutely zero knowledge on Soviet/Post-Soviet history and relations with Ukraine just found a community they can finally be part of with extreme confidence because the US is supporting the side their mail order brides come from. Except they didn't realize that the US doesn't care at all about that side and that their mail order brides are banging me off Tinder - we're just in it for terrible reasons.

The fact of the matter is no matter how credible our sources are today we're still not getting all the information needed to form a valid conclusion about all of this

The only true conclusions we can come to right now is most humans are easily programmed by their environment and intellectually underdeveloped causing greed, hypocrisy, violence, hate, apathy and many other counterproductive thought processes which prevents us all from ascending to something greater in this world

I don't think it's detached from public knowledge. It's not like the Middle East where relatively not much has changed with the monarch structure. We know a **** ton about Russia, while a vast number of idiosyncratic state, public, national, cultural, etc... issues often are embroiled or overlap in some fashion between the two countries with the Cold War.

Well in the case of Russia v Ukraine Americans in general have always been told Putin is a bad guy despite them having little knowledge of why. They tell me Putin = bad so yeah that's why I'm standing on this bridge on the other side of the world showing my support for Ukraine.

- NATO made promises post USSR break up not to expand
- Russia warned that expansion of NATO would be grounds for war
- NATO adds 4 additional satellite countries after promising not to
- NATO looks to add Ukraine next
- US overthrew Ukraine president in 2014 installing new Puppet government
- US and NATO put Russia in position they must go to war or go back on their promises

US and west WANT proxy war with Russia to wear them down and deplete their resources prior to upcoming war with China. This is preferable to the west rather than face China and Russia at the same time. The young slavic men at the boarders are the pawns in this game and their lives expendable.

The US benefits the longer the war drags on because it further depletes Russia's resources and ability to assist China in the future. The US assisting ukraine just increases the casualties on both sides. If the west never intervened then Ukraine on their own could never win and would be forced to negotiate a peace treaty with Russia which would have spared thousands of lives. Who cares if they give up some slice of land, look at a map and realize that it was part of the soviet union and russian empire the majority of the last few hundred years.



Western Media official story: Putin woke up in a grumpy mood one day and decided to invade Ukraine for no real reason other than he was just born evil.

Russia won't invade the Baltics, Poland or any other NATO countries, they aren't stupid. These are just the fever dreams of rabid Atlanticists. That said, they probably would invade the Baltics if it weren't for NATO.

Well with Russia or China I kind of understand since they are our enemies, but I don't get why all of these companies are standing with Israel or why some people are siding with Palestine to be contrarian. I think TikTok has made it worse because this battle has been going on for years but now in 2023 every jackass with a phone feels justified in voicing their opinion. I can somewhat see why people would have an opinion on Ukraine vs Russia but this is a bit much. We have enough problems. I mean sucks that they've been fighting forever but taking sides in a biblical war that has nothing to do with us is a new low for Americans. I'd go as far as to say that as a Palestinian, Mia Khalifa has more right to state an opinion than half of the people chiming in.
