“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Sure. Not many people can push 2 plates for working reps. I don't do that anymore. Never had a strong bench to begin with. I tried but never got to 3 plates. It's not worth it to me anymore based on current goals and I'm very happy doing whatever weight can net me a solid 9-12 clean reps with good ROM on my working sets(s).

So you expect to increase your incline bench press max by over 100+ pounds in a month? 225 for " a lot" of reps on the incline is easily a 315+ max bench. Unless you hop on some supplements, that's not happening that fast, especially without gaining weight. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Muscle memory boyo, I used to bench 315+ at a higher bodyweight

I havent been in the 160's for years, but I took almost a year off lifting and got shredded. Now that i'm 165 It would be nice if I could hit 225 for reps on incline at this bodyweight. I think I'm gonna bulk very very slowly and see what weights I can hit at a low bodyweight

It'll still take a while. If you're too aggressive when chasing "muscle memory", you increase the chance of injury. Just lift to be healthy while making steady progress, no need to obsess over numbers. I do working sets of 8-12 with 225 on incline, and I'm around 195 at 5'8 and fairly lean. Just to give you some perspective. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

You figure someone who can bench 225 x 10 on incline can flat bench 140 x 1?

Some people can, but for me no. I needed 225 for like 13 reps before I got 315/140kg

You incline benched 225 for 13 before you could flat bench 315? If you can incline bench 225 x 13, I'd imagine you should be able to easily get ~18+ reps on flat with 225 lb which means your flat bench max should be way above 315 unless you are really inefficient with your 1 RM.

Oh you're still talking incline? Nah I meant I flat benching 225x13 before flat benching 315x1

I've inclined 225 for sets of 10 on incline, I then tried 275 few weeks after and that chit was HEAVY lol. Incline benching is humbling

I've just been fukin around lately, I need to actually plan a routine. But I just mix basic movements like incline bench, flat bench, standing OHP, DB shoulder press etc and just go hard. And I always try to destroy my triceps. weighted dips, heavy tricep pull downs (ii suaulyl do the double rope) and DB skullcrushers
