I’m going to say this as sober as possible. There are guys that can go to these countries and find a girl, bring her back to the US, marry her and have a regular normal family. You are not that guy.

If a cute Filipina meets a western man on a dating ap and gets him to send her $50/mo, then what's to prevent her from making that her business with 30 simps that's $1,500/mo.

I watched a video where the guy was sending money to this Filipina who was supposedly having a house constructed. Foreigners can't own real estate there so money was sent to her. She sent him progress pics of the house. He went to visit and talked with the real owner of that house and he said 'yeah, this girl kept coming by and taking pictures'.

There's a video titled 'Sextortion' on Epoch Cinema. Fascinating how elaborate their scams are and how cold they are. Just getting as much money as they can and then telling the mark to committ suicide.

Having written that, I would venture that the vast majority of women there are family oriented and would actually make a good loyal wife. Meeting them on a dating site overseas? Giving them money? Both bad ideas.

I can give other passport bros tips about how to avoid getting scammed immediately off the plane....like one...stay in the city of dreams hotel and casino the first few nights...the Casino has face recognition surveillance and strict security so even if she's given you false ID, they will be able to identify her for you if she pulls a grab and run with your stuff.

How's her English? From my experience you hear more in the cities and less in the province. Also they tend to understand it much better than they speak it. That's no way they didn't feed you pancit at some point.

Her english is very good , but she miss pronounces things sometimes, we have a good laugh about, but she knows enough we are not held back by it in anyway.

I've had a lot of filipino food, all of the popular ones....I've lived in Lanai city almost 2 years now, 80% of my coworkers are filipino. and speak 3 of the dialects in my work...I'm working on learning from my coworkers.

I stayed in BGC in Manilla for a week in the spring

I stayed at the Shang and the employees treated me like their master, it was kinda nice. was in a bubble where I stayed tho - the areas I passed on the drive to the airport were peak poverty

Most of the girls there are dust/average at best and dont put in any effort. Might be the trans capital of the world too they were everywhere

I have a korean Grandmother and work sushi and know Japanese culture very well.

Honestly once you get to know real provincial filipino culture its really great and very respectful. But you want to avoid city poor....province poor and city poor are different things.

I know about the family cultures...even her family has some well to do and poor provincial members...you have to live your life, you can help each other but you merry the girl not the family...I have no problem saying NO. but I'm also generous when I want to be. you have to draw the line on your terms and not give in to anyone.

Not trying to pile on OP - I sincerely hope it works out for him and I love the Filipinas I have as employees and am planning on visiting them in 2024. Manilia is a cesspool you should go out to the provinces or atleast Cebu.

there are a lot of scammers, be aware, string them out for a long haul, the scammers will give up....if your eating up lots of time over a year and don't pay out its not worth it to a scammer...don't be some thirsty try hard and fool.

I chatted with this girl for over a year before even gifting her anything...and it was very small...a scammer is not gonna spend months chatting to you for hundreds of hours for nothing.Don't send any money if you don't want...my girl has never once asked for money.

some people shouldn't be looking for a filipina if they aren't committed to a asian culture lifestyle....I'm not out of place in a asian culture...the girl I choose to pursue is one I could get even if she was in the states...don't shoot too high out your zone....

honestly is not easy to do.

there are literally tons and tons of sexy AF young filipinas eye fuking me everywhere I went....but you have to remember your not there for that...if I want to just be a travel fuk boi in the PH I could and it would be great.
