How? Books to read? When meeting a group of people how be the alpha leader saying what is necessary and what you want?
When I want to get to know someone in a group and start asking questions some say you ask too many questions and it discourages me from speaking further what do?

Pro tip-
There are every few who can walk in to a room and be the alpha of that entire room or large area. Look at a guy like Trump. he can do it but not many others could.
Just try to be the leader of your small group. Maybe 3 guys or so. Once you get comfortable with this you can expand. You have to have some personality though. That is really where most people need work. be able to make some small talk to random people. If you need practice, just go to walmart and talk to some people there. Nothing in depth, just about halloween or holidays or whatever, It will get you comfortable doing it.
When you do this make eye contact with them as this is a primary driver that women are looking for. It shows you are confident. If you have trouble making eye contact just tell yourself you are looking at their eyes to see what color they are. This makes it easier to look people in the eye and not as creepy feeling.

Stand up and take charge when a group is needing some direction and you are most the competent person for that task.
If you are actively seeking this, there's two parts to that. First, the group needs to need a leader. So you mention socially, select a group who is underachieving socially and is in particular need of what you can offer them.

In high school it was the all-star football player.
In college it’s the guy who can hold a keg stand the longest, or even break the rules/law and get away with it.
Immediately after college it’s the guy who gets the most pussy.
Around 30 it’s the guy who is the most competent at the job.
