Girls want tall and handsome, but most will settle for handsome as long as you are noticeably taller than them. Some will never accept someone under maybe 5'9". All things being equal, the taller guy obviously wins (but not super tall unless you are a professional athlete).

Not true in my case. I wore boots a couple decades ago for a while and people would look up to my height and not down on my feet. Foot stomps and toe blasts in a fight take on a whole new meaning when you're wearing boots. Cowboy Boots are not feminine in the least my friend.

The answer, as always, is somewhere in between the incels of the misc and the "just say hi and be confident" bros. I'm only 5'7-5'8 myself + Indian (not a FOB though) and have pulled women who are way more attractive than me before in-person. The way I got them was just to be OTT crude and not really GAF. This is where I'm aligned with you that a lot of misc's problem is some combo of sheer autism, being afraid to say the "wrong thing", or otherwise not being bold. Yes, there are absolutely some women that'll screech your head off if you say anything non-PC, but do you really want to date someone who you're walking on egg shells around all day anyway? Plus, women are biologically designed to detect beta energy, so even if they "don't like you", they'll still respect you if you speak your mind to some degree.

That said, I also do thing something has changed in society where it's a lot harder to meet women/have these opportunities. As mentioned, I'm not tall, am in excellent shape compared to the average person (~15% bf and not a complete twink strength-wise), and have a super high NW, but even still, I hardly get opportunities online because I'm average-looking if you don't meet me in-person. This is kind of where technology and the societal malaise is failing us. I'm realistically 95th percentile of dudes, if you exclude my height, but because of how anti-social the world is and how reliant we are on dating apps, it's very hard to pull consistently without fitting a certain phenotype. I can't even imagine how dudes who are 5'9/5'10 making even $80K a year will manage to compete in today's world, especially now that inflation is overall QOL is declining across the board.
