You don't have an ex bf.

You are proved to be a man pretending to be a woman on bb.com.

Don't know why you keep trying...

Most people are not sex addicts that think they are. High libido is normal and good.

Porn addict, that's a different story.

Watch the movie Black Snake Moan, that's a sex addict.
Of all the movies I have seen, Nymphomaniac (Lars von Trier) shows what comes to mind when I think "sex addict".

That test you provided doesn't apply to me. I tried to talk to someone here in NYC and it quickly became a "find salvation through Jesus" thing which isn't analytical enough for me. I don't think to be an 'addict' it has to manifest in negative/problematic ways. But I am surprised a bit, I guess, at how high my libido continues to be. The "addiction" thought kicks in when I think just how much I enjoy it. I can still remember yanking down a woman's panties as she stood in a doorway near me and hearing the "splotch" of her wetness hit the ground underneath her before I fu*ked her standing.

That sort of thing.

Job is consuming my life. 12-14 hour days trying to meet productivity quotas, constantly changing shifts. Toxic culture. Haven’t worked out regularly for months. Have lost ~22 pounds in last 4 months.

Work culture going far, far left.
Tfw no girlfriend...for a while, too.
World spiraling out of control and anyone with logic, morals, or common sense getting ostracized for speaking reason.
Getting old. Wish I had had kids when I was younger, worry I will never get the chance.

- loneliness; not being able to find people who i can relate to - men or women. I have people i can chat to about superficial things, but none who i can relate to on a deeper level.
- no woman coupled with a resurging porn/hooker addiction. I was able to kick it for 12 months but always relapse when i figure how futile it is. I am social, fun to be with, but just can't find the right girl i really want to be with. I get interest, but not from the ones i want, and the ones i do want, always end up flaking on me.
- mom is getting older and i'm the only one in my family to take care of her - financially and medically (my two sisters dgaf). She lives on the other side of the globe which makes it even harder to shoulder.

That said, i am grateful i have a good job, property, and am in the best shape i have ever been.

Life is fundamentally empty and dull for me. It has been so for a long time. I have no real hope that I am capable of finding something that truly interests, that truly seems worth doing.

I still get worked over things, but it's all false, an illusion. I'm either totally bored and inert or I am anxious and scared and manic. I think obsessively about the same topics, particularly sex and women. My own mind is generally my enemy.

Struggling not to throw more money at MSTR. It ran up 50% in like a few days.

If it goes up to previous high I could easily get that used Bentley I have my eyes on LOL. Must resist FOMO! Must have discipline!

Similar struggle with SOL. Hard to resist.

You’re not an addict because you enjoy something. You’re an addict because your relationship with something is compulsive.

Ironically, when the addict goes after his/her fix, there is no real joy to be found. This is why quality goes out the window with addicts, e.g. the alcoholic will drink anything as long as it’s alcohol, the sex addict will fuk anything.

The compulsion is dominant and drives everything.

Wife keeps telling me to quit/find something else, I just have it too good right now and a "great salary" in this area would be like a 40-50k/year cut AND I'd have to go into an office/site daily.

Usually finish the work day totally drained/brain dead and just want to sit on the couch or do nothing....which is not like me at all....I used to hate sitting and doing nothing. I "live for the weekend" which I hate and just feel like life is piling up and I don't have time to do chit.
Your wife is right. That job will be the slow death of you.

You’re in the classic trap of well-paid but unfulfilling work.

I agree with Cass. You need to give yourself more credit. You're only mid 20's, right? You should look into the trades. It's really not too late. My ex started around mid 20's.

How long have you been trying? I think it took about 6 months for us to get pregnant.

So much this. Working full time really f's that up. By the time the weekend rolls around I'm so exhausted trying to get all the necessary stuff done in 2 days is almost impossible and if you do you had no time to actually relax.

Right now the things I'm struggling with most is the loss of my dog 8 months ago and I just had knee surgery last Thursday. I hate not being independent and being able to just get up and do what I want to do. Plus the pain has been horrible. Much worse than I was expecting. I think I'm finally turning the corner. Fingers crossed! I can't wait to work out again!

Drink too much, smoke too much, dip and chew all day and I work too much. Sure that will catch up with sooner or later health wise but fck it, here for a good time not a long time.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
