She's still pissed about it. She told me all about it when I got home from work today and sent her home. She is working her way through college with a job waiting tables. Apparently some guy came in who she described as short, stocky, and unbathed. She said he looked like he lived on the streets. But still she tried being nice and taking care of him. All he did was ask for water to drink and a menu with the free bread. She came back to take his order and he said he just wanted more bread and butter, which she brought. She kept thinking he was about to order food, but he kept ordering more and more water and bread and butter. At some point he let loose a really putrid fart when she was at his table, and by that point she'd had enough. She had her manager ask him to leave, because she was sure if she asked him to leave that he'd verbally abuse her. The manager kicked him out, the bus-boy cleaned the table, and she and the manager stood by the window and watched the "man" walk down the street seemingly aimlessly.

Good reminder to tip well - there are some staff trying to better themselves and the service industry is good starting point.

I'm kinda disgusted by the story tbh.
