I am in bed past 1am and my neighbor who recently survived cancer is having a party upstairs that is still very loud.

Other than that it is just the rest of the meaningless bull**** everyone else is complaining about. You have a wife and kids to give you purpose and then your life becomes a chore with purpose filled with taking the trash out and walking the dog everyone else wanted but does not take care of.

At least people like Marcus Aurelius had things like Rome for his purpose. It is hard to imagine nationalism having any nowadays.
