I don't think that's the title. But I can certainly understand why you wouldn't want to read a historical perspective

I don't think she mentions Hotez in the book.

Except the mask won't lower your risk in getting it. Those wearing them, thinking it will protect them, are beyond ignorant. Not to mention the side effects of wearing one for hrs on end.

Alex's alarmist claims were already addressed in the paper he attempted to summarize and also within this thread.

Study: Wearing N95 Mask Over Long Period Can Cause Cardiopulmonary Stress. Extended use of an N95 mask in daily life can cause various cardiopulmonary stresses, such as reduced respiration, elevated heart rate and blood pressure, and increased energy expenditure.

All worth it so one doesn't get sick......

Agreed, but hell….at this point I’d just settle for no longer recommending them to our country’s children. The tide is starting to turn in other country’s as they move to hold people accountable for wrongdoings, or conduct actual investigations into some of the things that need to be answered. I’m skeptical that America will ever reach that point though.
