As far as that study, it doesn’t differentiate between people who received the injection vs. those who didn’t. Since fails to highlight that aspect, it is useless with regards to determining the extent that the virus is causing issues vs what extent the injections are causing issues. It also doesn’t break it down by year, which further reduces its value.

As you’ve said though, everyone should consider what’s best for them. Some people are ok with getting injections every year and dealing with potential side effects. Most people seem to be moving away from that approach though based on recent history, a weakened virus, a decreasingly effective injection, and significant risk of side effects.
Infected vs uninfected, yeah? Do you think vaccination status would be imbalanced across groups? If so, in which direction? Do you feel the model didn't account for possible imbalance?

Are you just generally concerned with the use of regression, again?

To get back on topic, since you didn't have thoughts the first time:

Excess risk for acute myocardial infarction mortality during the COVID‐19 pandemic

"The excess death, defined as the difference between the observed and the predicted mortality rates, was most pronounced for the youngest (25–44 years) aged decedents, ranging from 23% to 34% for the youngest compared to 13%–18% for the oldest age groups. The trend of mortality suggests that age and sex disparities have persisted even through the recent Omicron surge, with excess AMI-associated mortality being most pronounced in younger-aged adults."

Strange twist of logic you're attempting there. Especially since you're the one constantly defending it and I'm the one who laughs at you because of it.

Tell the truth though.. you love it. Don't you.

Seems quite a few posts ITT mention myocarditis and vaccines. But if you feel the need to be the arbiter of what this thread is about to make you feel better..mm okay.

He also seems to get bothered when you point out that the study didn’t differentiate between people who got the injection and those who didn’t. For all we know, every single person that got myocarditis also received the injection and it could very well be that injections(which as you point out cause myocarditis), also make you more likely to get myocarditis from the infection.

But I’m sure he has no desire to look into that connection. Then again, he doesn’t even have a desire for data validation just so long as the conclusion matches his narrative.

I'm not bothered.

Not everyone has an easy time reading. I don't think that's something to be bothered by. Nor is people making stuff and being unable to support their made up stuff.

The data set is available and doesn't have that information ( CDC Wonder). But, I understand why you wouldn't want to discuss this paper, even though they used an unsupervised approach

Did omicron kill a lot of young children? More than the flu or were they not counting flu cases during that period? I can't remember, I know in my area the flu virtually did not exist while covid "positive" tests were very high. Strange how that worked...

The paper presents deaths by heart attack (Acute Myocardial Infarction; AMI) during the Omicron period.
