I am waiting for it to die or PS5 Pro and more games to come out to take full advantage of the tv, mainly a movie and tv show guy so i like to watch them in Dolby vision or HDR 4k with good speaker setup. I just dont see much benefit of getting PS5 yet.

I could have bought C2 or B3 but wanted a more future proof gaming tv in case i have time to install a sim seat and play

Meh. Price increase is not worth the upgrade on a yearly increment imo. I have a C2 and I turn the brightness way down, I think it's under 60 now in my dark room. 120ghz is fine as well. I think once you have something from a C1 or up you're perfectly fine for quite a few years until some new revolutionary tech comes out. I would rather just buy a bigger C3 with the same money over a smaller C4.

Gotcha. I was gonna suggest Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 or PC when it comes out next month because it's still the best looking game I've seen and really made me appreciate the contrasts and colors on the OLED. When you get that PS5 pro def check it out. In terms of movies, the ones that really made my OLED shine were Bladerunner 2049, Pacific Rim and Dune 2019. Movies with space scenes look so fkn good.

Trust me, don't follow the chit you see online where the "experts" say you need HGIG for "muh accuracy". Change tone mapping to DTM and watch your colors pop, it made a huge difference for me, especially in games. If you don't like the flashy look you can always change it back but it's worth trying. I wasn't happy with how my picture looked until I did that.

No difference. I don't care about whatever is "most accurate to how movie directors intended". HGIG made chit look so washed out and when I switched to DTM it was like the hand of God came down and touched my eyes. I got my OLED for chit to pop and look like eye candy, not gloomy and boring.

Got a 65" C3 right before Thanksgiving. Finally got rid of my 7 year old 60" Samsung LCD that was getting too damn slow to actually operate. The picture absolutely blew me away. I ended up returning the 65" though for the 77". I figured if I was going to spend that much for an upgrade we're gonna make it worth it. Got it from Best Buy with Geek Squad protection as well for 5 years. So in about 4 years and 10 months from now, that bitch is dying one way or another for a replacement TV.
