It can taste good with a simple rub, but my rub offers maximum taste. I've been experimenting with the rubs for years until I found my rubs-maximus.



Will use grapeseed oil next time, but there's nothing wrong with a more complex rub. The surface browns almost instantly and gives it a nice texture and crunch and delicious flavour, every bite is delicious.




I actually forgot my secret weapon for steaks this time around: Injecting bacon grease into the steak.

Both steaks include a "T-shaped" bone with meat on each side. Porterhouse steaks are cut from the rear end of the short loin and thus include more tenderloin steak, along with (on the other side of the bone) a large strip steak. T-bone steaks are cut closer to the front, and contain a smaller section of tenderloin.
