Young children are now selling snacks on the trains

Sitting near the edge (as usual for your boy) when I noticed a midget from the corner of my eye going up to everyone sitting down. When it was inevitably my turn I ignored them because I thought it was just another mom trying to sell candy, but when I heard the voice and saw them wait near the door to enter the car, it clicked that this child was like 10-12 probably (im bad with age) I looked around for the mother and couldn't identify the type.

Things are starting to ramp up in Gotham boyos. Dangerous times and it honestly would not surprise me at all. Honestly.

They did this 15+ years ago when I lived in Minneapolis. This isn’t a new thing

I always assumed they stole the candy or fruit snacks and were “fundraising” for their fictional sports team

Next thing you know they'll progress to selling sandwiches, then full-on meals. Once they start opening restaurants, you'll know it's time to leave.

I know jr high/hs kids sell things on the subway sometimes but I didn't expect a sole 8-12 y/o female ('recent migrant', i believe). Probably wasn't alone in the entire train, but still.

i paid like 8 for a plain dry sandwich in a plastic bag earlier this month. i won't hold anything against anyone that makes a proper sandwich lol.
