Can Misc recommend any FPS games
I want to play offline and go through campaigns, no multiplayer . My favourites were Crysis , MOH and COD back in the day . Unreal tournament and Mech Warrior were pretty cool back then to.
I can’t remember the last time I played games , but I’m thinking it was around 2005, so it will be interesting to see what the graphics are like now . I was debating to get a 1440 res monitor, and may consider an Oled monitor .
FYI I’m looking at getting a new computer that should support every game out there .

Back in the day I recall I couldn’t even get a game to work offline if you didn’t have an internet connection.
I thought that was brutal not letting you play a single player game that you paid for

Prey and Metro Exodus are the best single player FPS games I've played in years.
Both are available on most systems and are constantly going on sale.
Doom Eternal and Titanfall 2 were great too.
I wish we got more WW1 and WW2 single player experiences these days.

But I did get a kick out of unreal tournament, so I’ll probably get into these new games .
The graphics look sick

Shadow warrior 2 - this game is so slept on, think doom or serious sam with magic, guns and mele, with a great story and alot of rated r cheesy humor. Like a b movie satire on Asian fantasy. Pretty in depth character leveling as well. One of my favorites of all time. Can be hard as **** if you want it to be.

I'd highly recommend Halo 3 and Halo Reach, don't bother with later releases, 4, 5 and Infinite are throwaway games.
Thing is if you're on PC I don't know if H3 and Reach are available outside of their Master Chief Collection releases.
By the way, I remember Game Spy also, those were the last great days for PC gaming. Now they want you to install all this extra software so they can basically monitor you and mine your data. I have never installed Steam, nor will I ever. I don't know if you played any Blizzard stuff, I.E. Star Craft / Star Craft Broodwar, or Warcraft 3, but back then they had Battle.net as a free service - the video game industry has become egregiously anti consumer over the past 10+ years.
If you want a truly atmospheric experience on the PC, I highly recommend Doom 3. Shut the lights off, put on your head phones and get ready for one hell of a ride, no pun intended.

Halo Infinite. The electric fast paced gameplay and the amount of stuff you can do in this game makes it king. I've also yet to see a better looking and more polished game on an OLED.
PC specs
i9 9900k/AMD RX 6800 16 GB/16 GB RAM/LG BX 65'' OLED/Gigabyte GS27QC 27''
OLED Master Race crew
1440p 120+ fps only crew
6'2 master race crew
Audiophile crew
Metal crew
Introvert/INTJ crew
German crew
If you aren't getting stronger you aren't getting bigger crew

I hated the lack of ammo in Eternal, annoying af
OP checkout Cyberpunk 2077, solid graphics, story and gameplay.. pretty complete game after all the fixing they did
