UPS has been decreasing its staff for years...this is nothing new

Amazon has over 1.5 million employees.....laying off 20k is nothing.

In Jan of 2023 just shy of 100,000 people were laid off nationwide. How did that affect the GDP, SP500 and unemployment rate? Talk to me when its 100,000+ month over month for two quarters.

Increases profit margins and pumps up the stock market so it's a plus. Just like inflation pumps the numbers up and shows as stock market gains and GDP gains. It's called building back better, Jack.
