Pfizer drops India vaccine application after regulator seeks local trial
https://www.reuters.com/article/idUS...nicity%20study.
There are only a few people in this small country, I just don't see how such a tiny population demands extra expensive trials done, especially when JLC has repeatedly proven the vaccine trials are the most secure and conclusive trials ever done. I'm sure that is why Pfizer withdrew the application.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

You know your product is trash when you don’t even make a decent effort to tap into the world’s two largest markets(India and China).
The drug regulator said on its website its experts did not recommend the vaccine because of side effects reported abroad were still being investigated. It also said Pfizer had not proposed any plan to generate safety and immunogenicity data in India.

"In January 2023, Pfizer withdrew its emergency use bid of its COVID-19 vaccine in India due to delays due to requests from its manufacturers for indemnity clauses from Indian authorities."
So Pfizer gave up a year ago because they could be legally held responsible in India for side effects or deaths.

Immune from prosecution in the US, while India refused to indemnify Pfizer without local trials. No ****** customers so I'm not surprised the rotating door between Pfizer and the FDA had the FDA recommending them for young people. Gotta make up the lost potential profit from India by jabbing people with no need for the jabs in the US.
The damage the FDA has done to its reputation in the last few years is irreparable. Not just with these jabs but with its fast approval of Aduhelm, an incredibly expensive Alzheimer's drug. Two of their top members of their approval board quit in protest over that. The loss of trust in the FDA can't come back within decades, if ever.

You’d assume they’d have the most amazing immune system living in that over populated Petri dish , and wouldn’t need a vaccine , and could eat Ebola for breakfast

The average per-participant cost for a clinical trial in the US is ~$40-45k.
The initial trial had 43,548 participants.

Their phase 3 trial was powered to detect a 30% effectiveness.

Dunno where you pulled 170,000 participants from, but I don't think it was a principled sample size estimate
