It’s pathetic to get all excited because “your team” won, cry (or even get really upset) if over a loss, wear another man’s name on your overpriced shirt, etc., - but admiring the athleticism and making it a social event is totally normal human behavior.

I would suggest if you can’t see that you’re still in a bit of a fog about what’s “beta.” I had a couple people over last night, cooked some good food, made fun of the commercials and it was fun. After that we had a good chuckle about the ending and everyone moved on.

Tons of athletes go to other sporting events and are well known "super fans" of other teams and sports.

Unless going to a Super Bowl party or a good friend wants to get yucky at a bar and watch the game, meh. Even as I played football and baseball as a teenager I had stopped watching them and other sports on TV. I'll definitely still go see sports in person since it's a completely different experience.

It's ok to loosely enjoy and watch the games for your team. Where it becomes true cuckoldry is when guys start obsessing over specific players and wearing their names on their backs. Seriously think about how inferior that present you as a man to other people. You're basically announcing to the world you think this other man is better than you. I saw a REALLY disgusting post this morning from some guy I follow on ********. Originally I had met him at a boat ramp while we were both jet skiing and we became friends on social media for a few years now but not actually hangout together in real life. Now the post only last about 20- 30 mins before being taken down but I was just sooo disgusted by what someone that is supposedly a proud pATriOt is wishing death to fellow American spectators at a live sporting event simply because Right Wing Media told him it is a conspiracy and the whole Taylor Swift / Biden endorsement BS. To be fair, football has its roots in a couple of entirely White Male teams.

An extreme amount of effort went into popularizing it in the early 90's. And i'm not gonna lie i enjoyed me some scrap matchups back in school. This was one of the only times an entire class would get along doing an activity.

Blacks just tend to dominate the area today for many, many reasons.

1. Blacks brought from Africa originally were chosen based on capability, and over time, the weak died off, while the strong were prized possessions. Virtually any ethnic group which goes through hardship sees its genetic pool strengthen. This leads to more capable athletes.

2. Due to the entire race being poorer than whites on average, and much of the 1900's being rought on them, this pushed them through yet another filter of natural selection

3. Being poor, generally speaking, means the parents are far less likely to involve their kids in any kind of ongoing intellectual betterment/enjoyment/enrichment. Therefore, lots of free time gets funneled into sports, with very little aim towards anything else in life. So for every black football player, there's like 25,000 blacks who went all-in trying to play NFL and never made the cut. These guys now work in places like Amazon warehouses/general labor.

4. White people tend to have more logical, safe paths of making it through life than banging their head against people. Which is kindof a good thing. Despite the pay of being a football player, the majority of retirees say it wasn't worth it with the number of neurological issues they have in their mid 30's. Baseball is a far better alternative, and that's where you see blacks as a minority since its not all about being a brute.
