Men are different, you can argue with them and a lot of men will actually at least try and see your side of things or be reasonable and agree to disagree, and can actually admit if they were wrong.

It's funny because if you sit two men who HATE each other in a room to have a conversation they many times will leave actually understanding the other guys side of things.

They will make lots of noise, start shouting at you about a bunch of nonsense, make up situations they need to oppose, and double down hard on an emotionally compromised standpoint, having too much pride and emotion to ever back down or admit fault.

Pretty spot on, but it's impossible to completely avoid conflict with your first point e.g. if you refuse to engage they just escalate until you do (if you are attached or work with them).

Your second point is one that I apply to everyone, e.g. if I have an opinion I make it very clear that it is just that, an opinion. If I know someone is flat out wrong then I will argue the point, provided they are a person worth arguing with (once you realise their thinking is dominated by emotion, disengage).You sound emotional, kinda reminds me of a.................
