Is $1300 rent too high

Want to move out from my family’s

To a big night city

Moving to a new high rise
Moving to a empty 4 bed/3 bath unit

Eventually later they may give me roomates but they may not as my friend has been living for a year without roomates and only paying $1300 in a 4bed/3 bath

Do want roomates so I can improve my social life

But If not I’ll have 3 extra rooms

Seems like a good deal to have 4 bedrooms for $1300 as long as they don’t give me roomates.

But idk what I’ll do all day
I guess I’ll try to be involved in the city and be active as much by doing stuff every day

But living with roommates I’ll have ppl to chill and talk to

I guess I’ll try to make friends to invite over

Depends on your salary. I couldn't do $1300 on my $55k salary. If I made $75k it would work.

$1300 isn't that bad, but IIRC, this is a multi bedroom apartment and you're only renting one, and have shared living spaces? I was in Vegas, but I was still able to get a nice spacious one bedroom for $1415.

Depends, but honestly sounds pretty good. $1300 gives you the garage some pleb is renting out to make it by in CA.

I paid $1200 a month in the mid 1990s for a 3 bed/2 bath next to an oil refinery in NJ.

it's really more about what % of income you're ready to spend on your rent bro.
It shouldn't be much more than 30%
I got extremely lucky when I was younger and just started my career I had cheap rent and it was only like 5% of my income lul

1300 for a 4 bedroom is extremely cheap in most cities

1300 for a room, and a shared space with 3 roommates is expensive in most cities.
