Before I said anything, I called my mate as I knew he was with his girlfriend last night (the OP girl’s friend). My friend’s girlfriend (who we’ll call L) also saw the insta story and had messaged her as well asking who the guy was, OP girl replied instantly with a shush emoji. L then said ‘Du bai slice?’ in which OP girl replied with a wink face emoji. So that confirmed my own suspicion, which was very obvious without that added info anyway.

My reasoning for myself is that I’ve put all my eggs in one basket before and got burned in a similar way, so I keep my options open until the last possible point before I accumulate enough confirmation in my mind to go exclusive. In this situation I couldn’t really go exclusive with a girl who was literally about to head out to Du bai, hence why I’ve been seeing other girls too. What has happened here has validated my own decision on this particular girl.
