My browser has a built in VPN. All it takes is a simple right click to utilize a Private VPN page. But even typing that out makes it seem extreme and pathetic. No fap is def something this country needs.

Look how the jews sit and claim "this impinges on the rights of protected speech" all while passing laws that make it a crime to criticize israel and jews.

And some of you still can't connect the dots. Truly bottom of the barrel humans.

Those all have age verification requirements. What's the issue with having it for pern?

This isn't a pern ban, btw,

Well, nudity and violence in movies, certain music and video games are all essentially not enforced at all. Online you just need to lie about your ages and you are good. As I understand it, the hub is reacting to a requirement that makes them responsible for verifying their users age - i.e., they need to actually verify that their users are not under the age of 18. The only way this would actually work would be to link it to your SSN. In Norway we have whats called Bank ID, not sure if there is something equivalent in the states. Basically you use this whenever logging into your bank, government websites etc - wherever safety and 100% verification is required.

Such a requirement for porn is obviously much, much more invasive than picking a random birth date and "ok" on Steam or on a streaming platform.

no, just make it hard for minors to obtain porn, you know, like it was before the internet got huge, remember back when you could only get porn if you were over 18? had to buy a magazine from the store or rent videos?

Honestly, what's the difference between finding a stash of porn magazines and VHS tapes and what we have today? Other than the instant access to all kinds of weird fetish chit, but frankly people who are into that chit will get into it one way or the other regardless of what road blocks you try to put in place.

You also didn't deny that you're a porn user userself and have fapped to it countless times like the rest of men who have an ounce of test
It isn’t a ban. To imply it is, you’re basically taking the same approach of the people talking about FL banning sexual books. Removing it from elementary schools isn’t a “book ban”. Requiring age verification to view porn isn’t a “porn ban”.

Speaking of dishonest, are you sitting here comparing stumbling across a handful of playboys under your uncles mattress to unlimited free access to any type of porn video you could ever imagine. That might be one of the greatest false equivalencies I’ve ever seen on the misc, and that’s saying something. And it’s also dishonest to say people would’ve ended up finding anything anyway. Going to a site that shows previews of all kinds of weird sh!t while hitting your dopamine receptors in a way that will naturally require greater stimulation and more extreme content to achieve the same result over time is not the same as walking into an adult content store and going straight to the bondage gangbang section. You know there is a clear difference between those two scenarios.

Yes I occasionally watch porn. If my state passed a law that required age verification for me to get on the sites I wouldn’t have a problem with it, and I’d actually say it’s a good thing. Reducing porn consumption among teenagers is good for society, and I’m not sure you’ll be able to make an argument to convince me otherwise. The rest of your argument is just false equivalencies and hyperbole about porn bans while saying it won’t do anything to reduce consumption. Not a very good case on your part imho.

I remember looking for a Nina Hartley and Ashlyn Gere scene on xvideos and the main page was just step-mom or step-dads having sex with their step kids and mmf switch hitter threesomes. I said Fook this it ain't worth it.

VA did this a few years ago. I didn't even know until I had to test a configuration made to block adult websites late last year.

I don't think having to provide ID is bad. I ain't got chit to hide. I used to rent VHS porn and the video store had my ID on file. I don't do illegal chit so what do I care if people know who I am?

Right? Feels like I'm talking to a bunch of boomers in their goddamn 70's itt.

Porn that should be illegal already is illegal. Lmao at trying to legislate mass restrictions on all of porn.

Also, lmao at ppl itt bitching about teenagers using the internet for porn. Should they be sitting there for hours a day on it like addicts? Hell no, and nobody should be doing that. But these guys were all downloading the chit out of porn off of Limewire and WinMX back in the day, stealing from their old man's hidden stashes, etc.

This does not seem any different from the old days when they would ask for ID if you wanted to buy Porn.
Porn Hub is just throwing a "whoa is me" tantrum, because they know most of their traffic is from horny teenagers.

They run a porn site. Their grandstanding posturing is highly dubious.

I watch about 3 minutes worth of porn roughly twice a month. I'd be willing to bet you actually use porn more than I do.

Are you going to call for OnlyFans and social media to have these same restrictions on them? Because those, and chit along those lines are causing 100x more damage to society than porn is these days. You're stuck in 2008 if you don't agree with that.

Your govt. already knows all the sh!t you look at, or more accurately can find that information within seconds if they want to. They already have your biometric data(including facial and voice recognition). Same goes for all of the big tech companies as well as owners of most apps that you’ve ever downloaded. And anyone who buys that company or data has access to it as well. Privacy is a basically a myth at this point. People have willingly traded it for convenience. Sure there are measures you can take to reclaim it, but there is a decent amount of effort required and most people are just too lazy.

Also, it does accomplish a lot….if it didn’t then people wouldn’t be in here b!tching about it and lying about how it’s a ban on porn. As someone else pointed out, in the past when people bought porn mags or rented/bought porn videos you had to show your id. It’s called enforcing the law. There is already a law in place which says you have to be 18 to view or purchase pronographic material. This measure is not a new law, simply a way to help enforce a law that is already in place.

Always makes me laugh when the porn addicted coomers assume everyone else is a porn addicted coomer.

Sure, lots of people watch porn, but a lot of people don't, too. I think it's a good move by Texas and long overdue.

I've been no pern for around 5 or 6 years, so wrong again coomer.

Yes, those should be age restricted as well. However the age restriction thing I do admit is almost impossible to force. So it would be much more realistic to ban free streaming pern. If you want to be a coomer, you have to whip out dat dere credit card. Same for onlyfans. Social media doesn't exist strictly to distribute pern, so ******** etc would stay, as chitty as they are.

edit: strong irony at face book being censored
