Do people realize that Weapons like Bunker Busters and Multi Ton Glide Bombs require complete air superiority in order to work properly?
Firing cruise missiles or ballistic missiles at Iran from outside Iranian Airspace will not take any important nuclear facility out of commission.
Only Low Value and Medium Value Targets can be hit from OUTSIDE Iranian Airspace.

Assuming a nuclear facility is sufficiently underground, i dont think a bunker buster could reach it either way, no?

Also, i am quite suspect to say the least on whether or not iranian AD can actually do anything about f35s.

What AD systems does iran even have?

Seems to be an intentionally limited attack. It was probably meant to show Iran how effortlessly they can strike inside the country, should they want.

Almost seems staged. Very little military damage yet maximum news headlines resulting in volatile financial markets. On the heels of inflation coming in hotter than expected resulting in FED backpedaling rate cuts. Keep in mind something like 14/16 job reports have been revised lower with almost a 40% total revision. When things are this far off it is usually not by coincidence.

What AD systems does iran even have?
Iran has a multi layered Air Defense System but much of it is Either Jimmy Carter Era American Equipment, Soviet Era Equipment, or Cheap Chinese and Iranian Copies of Russian Equipment.
The Best Air Defense Systems Iran has are modernized versions of Russia's S-300 Air Defense Systems which are used only at HIGH VALUE TARGETS not at low or medium value targets.
S-300s are their best long range air defense system and The Tor M1 is their best short range air defense system and both are definitely capable of shooting down all Israeli Aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles besides maybe the F-35(which is still 100% an UNKNOWN). A Syrian S-200 was able to hit and damage an Israeli F35 so the F35 is most likely HIGHLY OVERRATED unless and until it's proven in combat against MODERN Air Defense Systems like the S-400 and Modern Air to Air Missiles like China's PL-15 and PL-21 or Russia's R-37M.

If IAF Planes fire missiles from hundreds of miles away from Iran, that means that Israel/IAF Pilots are AFRAID of flying over Iran while they are NOT afraid of flying over Lebanon. I wonder WHY.
