People's mood depends on how much money they have...

The more money they have to spend the happier they would appear..and the opposite means lots of disappointment and frustration...

Yeah. Things have changed in the last decade or so, now it's all about the money. But yeah people can get stuck sometimes, money comes and goes.

True.

OP probably should have wrote “Western people” rather than just “People”.

Money is a cornerstone of the western way of life.

I believe the saying "people aren't any happier making above $90k/year"

There rly isn't that much to buy above this salary besides overinflated luxuries

Now how you acquire this 90k salary is a different story

The road rager today didn't look too happy with his life. He drove a pretty decent looking truck too. Only a couple years old Lol.

Both are true. At the start of year I put more effort into looking for things I wanted to buy but just couldn't find anything to spend my money on, so I haven't been spending apart from bills/food, other necessities.

I'd also like a penthouse, so there's that...

I'm sure F U money is a different story

People base their understanding of the world on their own experience. It is called projection.

The reason we do it makes sense. It is easy to assume our personal experience is not extremely abnormal.

However it leaves a lot of room for error.

How did you come to this conclusion OP?
“The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.“

PS: Don't eat poop, just don't let the idea of it stop you from living life to its fullest.
