Most big companies use press fitting though and most smaller companies don’t do gas line work like that anymore especially up in NY. They stopped all new gas expansion so if your on propane your stuck on propane national fuel isn’t allowed to run new lines/service

I haven't bothered listing it cause there are so many on the marketplace and they are asking like $40 - granted thats for the newer styles that aren't quite as robust but there are a lot and they have sat for a long time. When I list things I do it so they move fast I don't like having things up for over a week.

A lot of people in Cypress and Houston still don't have power, but out here in the more rural areas a lot of people have gotten power back. I noticed the same thing during the 2021 Winter Storm. We were without power for 3 days, but people in places like Bellville had power lol.

Anyway I helped my folks clean up the debris, and we burned most of it. The pic below is just one of our piles, the bigger ones are to the right a few meters over out of the frame.



We did have a lot of large broken logs, but one tree completely uprooted, thankfully it fell opposite to our power tap line. Thank god.


I'm beat. My folks are aging so I tackled most of the heavy work with haste to make sure they wouldn't have to do it. Burned some calories though and I'm gonna sleep good asf lol.
