Are you a borderline vegetable or have so little intelligence ability that there's less than 10% you could find a working functional job either out of the house or in? Then sure, 9/10 people would agree mooching off of the Government would be justified to "exist and survive". Even though you may look like a potato, you're not one. You need Dialysis, but I know plenty of people who do as well who have day jobs or work just fine. 9/10 would say you don't need the "assistance" the way you think you do. Which would be "theft" in a lot of eyes. So, start using your computer time to work from home or something.

adobe = chite company, which is why so many of its users pirate their software instead of supporting them. majority of their money probably comes from big companies who don't have a choice.

affinity designer 2 is like $70 for one time payment. i think they only charge you again for major updates (1>2>3,etc.) and they give black friday discounts. unless there's some specific illustrator feature you need or it's required as industry standard, designer 2 will be just as good for majority of stuff.
