Gonna go get my first workout in for 2 weeks from being sick. Then might walk the beach or go fishing later... The construction is for a park.

Oh yeah? How so? The people in this neighborhood are generally pretty nice. I have to interact with a lot of people through work and people seem pretty chill. Lots of cuban and Argentinian here.

It depends where in Miami you are. I actually love Miami and think the people are great. But if you run in certain circles there are a lot of trashy people.

With it becoming a lot higher end city lately though, it's a lot better. I think I'll move there at some point during the next 5 years or so.

When I ran a mortgage company we had an LDP list that HUD gave us which listed people who are denied participation in any other FHA loans (because they burnt FHA with fraud). I split HOA with my girlfriend. It's paid off. She does very well, an executive vice president of sales for a large internet security company. Its worth a lot. She has a few ocean condos. Puts her mom in one and rents the other. I do pretty well as a tradie. I have a couple rental houses myself.

interesting story. I have vacationed in Miami. Thought it would be a fun place to live, never understood the hate for it, some people just don't know how to enjoy life I guess.
