The advertisements proctor and gamble have been making made me look into the company's board and I found some interesting things. I'm trying to never buy any of their products again because they clearly have an agenda and I would not be surprised at all to learn they are purposely putting estrogen mimicking chemicals in their deodorants and things.

good luck with that. Not buying products from Proctor and Gamble is like saying you're not going to eat meat becasue you think you'll effect the bottom dollar of slaughterhouses. They make billions upon billions per year all around the world.


Worst case scenario (which is still highly unlikely) is the entire Gillette brand goes belly-up and is pulled from the market. They still have dozens of other products to keep them afloat until they rebrand their razors under some other name, and unless you regularly pay attention to company ownership of products, you wouldn't even know you're buying a P&G product. There is no escape, lol.

more to the point, it probably wasn't the best idea to promote anything that could be perceived as controversial considering all of these "$1 shave" companies popping up online eating into their bottom dollar. They're super cheap and convenient because everything gets mailed to your house. The only people that buy Gillette's overpriced razors now days are teens that just hit puberty and only have to shave once per week, so they spend half of their allowance on razors. Eventually when they have to start saving daily they start looking elsewhere for more cost effective products.

I haven't even watched that chit, I have no idea what the truth is, and most protests are for clowns with no lives, but I'm amazed at how fast the left descended into "but his punchable face still has that smirk on it, and smirking is wrong" and "how come his parents didn't teach him to walk away from his elders" as soon as the story starting crumbling.

I work in creative advertising for a client that's a well known luxury car brand and let me just say that this didn't surprise me one bit and my entire office collectively sucked each other off over the Gillette ad and spent the last week discussing how brave it was.

You'd think trying to sell SUVs in a growing market or sports cars for an established sportscar brand would be rather simple but absolutely everything we do MUST have some sort of left-leaning societal issue we must address and attempt to solve.

I'm not buying their products because I wouldn't put it past them to have estrogen mimicking chemicals.

No sheit I know me not buying their deodorant or shaving cream isn't going to make them bankrupt. That isn't the point. I don't want estrogen chemicals in my body.

The ad is absolute trash. We need a men's revolution and to purge the soy from the system. I sincerely hope all these ads are inevitably doing something good by building momentum towards this.

Also I've never used a Gillette product in over a decade. A good safety razor is a one time purchase and razor blades are extremely cheap. Mine looks brand new because it's built sturdy... just like me... And wetshaving is the superior and manlier method. I have a beard but I still use my razor on the neck and to clean up my beard line. 1 sharp blade = precise as fuk.

Get on it boys.

It’s funny that they want to be this way yet their commercials still imply that men are the only ones that should or can use their razors.. They could have just made a normal shaving commercial but have women also using their razors to shave their legs and what not.. So they alienated their customer base and still let me know that their razors are for men. Well good men that respect women- lol(not srs)

Honestly the Gillette cartridges are a waste of money and they aren't that good. I made the switch to a safety razor awhile ago and wonder why more people don't do the same.

Gillette cartridges where I live are about $3.50 (no troll) each on average. And I honestly only get 3 shaves out of it. And I shave 3 times a week. So about 4 cartridges so say about $14 a month.

Where as I can buy the safety razor for pretty much a one time fee, and buy the blades super cheap and plentiful, and they last a lot longer.

As far as the ad, I found it dumb but didn't really care for it at the end of the day. I do feel that the alienated a huge customer base. Did you see the dislikes on YouTube? lol. Not to mention the hypocrisy.
