Honestly I don't mind the boring meals. Chicken/ fish/ beef/ deer + jasmine rice with a decent amount of salt and I'm fine

If it's a carbless meal, mustard is your friend.

Snacks? Stop snacking, save it for a meal lol

Well you are a guy and younger than me too so I would think you have a bigger "budget", but some of mine:

- 35 calorie per cup popcorn/weigh to the gram though
- big salads w/low cal dressings, salsa, lemon juice, vinegar, etc.
- low cal wrap + spread with a wedge of Babybel soft cheese + top with some deli meat
- big cold crunchy apples
- dill pickles
- Greek yogurt over berries
- soups, but if you go pre-made read the labels
- hot tea/coffee
- fizzy water w/some flavor
- beef jerky
- protein shakes (if done right in a good blender)

ETA: hot vegetable broth...sounds odd, but it's nice in the afternoon; savory instead of sweet...prefer a good brand in a carton

Pork loin chops, great macros.

Zero calorie sauces.

Spice rubs.

Bagels, surprising amount of protein.

This.

Look at your protein tubs if you use those. Generally have BCAAs already.

I hear you. Don't worry I struggled hard with consistent dieting the first 4 years of lifting. Now it's literally just ticking boxes for me.

Keep a bunch of veggies and pickles on hand too. Bell pepper, pickles etc are all untracked for me. If someone says "watch out for sodium" in pickles, just slap them

The GOAT filler snacks are Popcorn w/ 0 cal seasonings like Dill Pickle or White Cheddar. The second are sugar snap peas.

The popcorn will give you a similar flavour to what you were getting out of chips and the snap peas have that crunch. Both you can just sit there and munch on for a long time and barely have a cal hit.

Do low carb for a few weeks. After a few days hunger pangs disappear. At least for me they did.

lol at people thinking sodium is bad. I had bad cramps for years until I upped my sodium. Now I rarely cramp at all.

i hear people talk about popcorn being good for cutting but i don't see it. i can chew through 1,000+ calories of it easily in one sitting. it triggers me to want more and more. i'd rather just avoid it altogether. easier. any kind of salty snack just triggers me.

I combine low carb and OMAD, and fat just melts off. If you've only lost 4 pounds in 4 weeks of dieting, you're not doing something right.

My usual meal lately is a chicken and broccoli stir fry from a Thai place by me. Probably 1200 calories of food that I eat around 2PM. I might add a protein shake at another time of day. I just started doing this a couple weeks along with lifting hard, and I'm already down 10 pounds or so, while lifting and doing cardio. I've also been doing a cheat meal or two as well as needed(but not one of these 3000 cal cheat meals, more like 1500 between 2-3 slices of pizza).

I've found that snacking while trying to lose weight is a big no no. Does nothing but increase my hunger. Popcorn is a terrible idea because you eat it and the flavor lingers.

Are you getting the butter chit? Just buy plain. A bag of Orvilles simply salted is 210 cals only. There’s no way you are eating 5 full bags of popcorn in a sitting.

Congrats on your weight loss. This works perfect for me to control my hunger.

I knock off 50 calories per day from my daily calories. Once a week I eat 350 to 500 above my my deficit calories and stuff the fuk out of my stomach and eat whatever - obviously while watching calories not to go over max 500. Almost felt wrong - as if I broke some rule or something. But it worked. I was loosing 1.1 to 1.2lbs per week.

Continue loosing weight and also get to satisfy hunger to the max once a week.

Also coffee - helps me big time with hunger. One cup coffee when hungry and hunger goes away for a few hours...
