The thing about Capitalism and acquisition of wealth
It's too competitive for the wrong reasons.
Most jobs I've had there were always issues with being understaffed and dead lines, etc whether it was construction or retail and accommodation.
Want to upgrade a building's hvac controls? Cool, here's one journeyman and a first year apprentice. This is what you have and what you need to do. Oh btw, we're not making enough profit even though it's governmental work and probably subsidized.
Working at a retail store? Cool, let's make this many $$$, go get them tiger.
They were showing the news on small businesses that didn't last the pandemic , bookstores, restaurants/bars. A pub was operating for 9 years, thought its landlord applied rent subsidy , nope here's the previous 6 months rent. Here you go.
It really seems like the goal of acquiring wealth competitively when facing declining resources and global moral just doesn't cut it nowadays.

No one is making you work there.
A democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. And that's why the USA is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

The flaw isnt capitalism its that workers have lost their power and collective bargaining. In the 50s ceo to worker pay was only 20:1 difference. If everyone driving for and working for amazon was making 35 hour starting, it would be good for the economy, bezos making less of a share would have almost zero effect on us. The idea that it would cause inflation and the price of everything to rise is bull****. It has been proven in practice to not be true and innfact be a job creator. Between 1978 and today ceo pay has increased 1000%. Worker pay has increased 12%. Top down economics do not work. Middle out economics works.
Luckily at my job my superiors are very strong are almost never pressured to an unrealistic time frame and when we are we get paid well. We almost always come in ahead of time then have time to bull**** around. That being said there have only been concessions given since the 80s. Guys used to make way way more and be given way more OT for weekend and night work.
One thing that is interesting is how polar opposites tend to start reflecting one another. So facism and communism are actually not so different. And in practice the corrupt communist state was essential "the state" embodied by a small group of uber wealthy people controlling everything with super poor low wage/living standard workers. The direction we are heading lots of ways is sure free not state run but small number of uber wealthy capital hoarders and business owners driving an economy of low paid wage slaves. In my field i know the richest person can still only pay for one or one familys attendance. If one hundred people instead had enough disposable income to attend it would make my field grow. We dont grow by capital investment but by capitalist consumption. The overstatement of important and job creation of Capital investment is a lie. People get mad because if they have capital to invest in a project in my area they have to pay out, by law, so much in labor costs. Its better for the economy overall but they want to be able to pocket it for themselves. And this is only a small number of projects that are done compared to user consumption driven funding.

Regardless of if that profit leads to the long term well-being of individuals, families, or society in general or not.
"Goldman Sachs analysts attempted to address a touchy subject for biotech companies, especially those involved in the pioneering “gene therapy” treatment: cures could be bad for business in the long run.
“Is curing patients a sustainable business model?” analysts ask in an April 10 report entitled “The Genome Revolution.”"

To reiterate: that is a report questioning the long term profitability of research into one shot cures for diseases. Which shows the capitalist mindset at work.
The Tobacco industry intentionally covered, up the research concluding harmful effects, so do the Sugar industry attempting to blame rising obesity of saturated fat (that's not a conspiracy theory, both cover ups are even acknowledged by the MSM).

I just hate the hyper-specialization that everyone is forced to do. You either have to slave away at a computer for 40 hours a week, plus when you get home. Or you have to drive the dreaded walkie and break your back in a warehouse for 40 hours plus overtime. There needs to be more variation in the workplace. One reason I like retail was the many work activities you could do. If one thing got boring you just did something else.

Corporations are setup to suck the money and soul out of society, leaving all the resources for the elites.
I just received a class action lawsuit notice regarding a corporation I used to work for. I read trough the documentation and they agreed to settle various claims for multi-millions of dollars without admitting fault. My portion comes out to a little over $2K. Like, why fukk over your emplyees and do illegal chit, only to turn around and not even balk at settling a multi-million dollar lawsuit. I guess this way allows them to claim the money as revenue first before having to pay it out in the form of fines lol. Capitalism of peace.

Once you have money, it's much easier to make money, and it doesn't have to be a million at first.

The problem is that people care about retarded things, people waste so much money on upgrading an Iphone, onlyfans, netflix, etc instead of paying for chit they need like healthcare, fitness, healthy food etc.
People want something easy and luxurious, not the boring but necessary
